1. Delaying Our Good Works Carries A Huge Cost.

Proverbs 24:30-34• 30 I went by the field of the lazy man,

And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; 31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down. 32 When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction: 33 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; 34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

2. Delaying Our Salvation Carries An Eternal COST!

22 But when Felix heard these things, having more accurate knowledge of the Way, he adjourned the proceedings and said, “When Lysias the commander comes down, I will make a decision on your case.” 23 So he commanded the centurion to keep Paul and to let him have liberty, and told him not to forbid any of his friends to provide for or visit him. 24 And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

25 Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” 26 Meanwhile he also hoped that money would be given him by Paul, that he might release him.Therefore he sent for him more often and conversed with him. 27 But after two years Porcius Festus succeeded Felix; and Felix, wanting to do the Jews a favor, left Paul bound.

• The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow. So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

The way to “count our days” is to “make our days COUNT

If we don't teach our children the truth Spouses – if you put off and neglect the love

and respect God designed for your relationship

Brothers – if you won’t answer God’s call for leadership, Satan has wolves lined up he would love to put in charge

• May the Lord bless you and keep you in his arms brother. You left an example for what a Christian should be. I know from the words and testimony of others that you will hear "well done thy good and faithful servant, enter in to the joys of thy lord.“
