Purpose
• The purpose of this project is to determine if our color preferences affects our choices. This is important because, it affect people’s choices when buying something.

Hypothesis
• We hypothesize that color preferences will affect peoples choices. We believe this because it makes no sense for people to pick colors that they are not attracted to. For example, when people shop for clothing, they only choose colors they like.

• 1 bag of M&Ms • 1 bag of Skittles • 10 boxes of 24 color pencils• A sharpened pencil• 1 large bin to put materials in• Crayons

DIRECTIONS
• Fill a bucket with snap cubes.• Pull out 10. Record choice.• Put cubes back.• Ask favorite color and record.• Repeat steps 1-5 using M & M’s.• Repeat steps 1-5 using Skittles.• Repeat steps 1-5 using crayons.• Repeat steps 1-5 using color pencils.• Calculate the percentage of people who
picked their favorite color the most.

Conclusion
Our hypothesis was incorrect. Color preference does not affect peoples color choices. The average percentage of subjects who picked their favorite color was 40%. It maybe interesting to find out next if we used food to see if the results would change.
