calendar days from date of the written report.

Corrective Action PlanThe CAP must identify:
The root cause that led to the nonconformity;
Actions taken to correct the nonconformity in the affected areas and/or processes;
Other areas and/or processes (if applicable) that have the potential to be affected by the same nonconformity;
Process or system changes that will be made to ensure that the nonconformity does not recur;
Timeframe for the implementation of the corrective action measure(s);
Name of the person responsible for implementing the corrective action measure(s)
Performance measure(s) and/or other supporting evidence that will be monitored to ensure the effectiveness of the corrective action(s) taken.

Corrective Action Plan VAD Program is expected to implement corrective action measure(s) within sixty
(60) days.
Possible exceptions but rare that the extended timeframe for implementation of corrective action measure(s) would exceed six months.
If CAP is approved, final written report(s) will be provided to the Applicant Organization within thirty (30) business days of the survey.
Based on successful survey findings and/or Action Plan follow-up, report will be submitted to DNV GL for its decision regarding the certification status of the Applicant Organization. If approved, the Applicant Organization will receive a three year DNV GL facility certification for VAD.
In order to maintain VAD facility certification, the organization will be subject to annual surveys for assessment of continual compliance with the VAD Facility Certification requirements and compliance with corrective action plan(s) from the prior survey.
