DN-Gruppe Industrial Lubrication Systems.

DN-Group has a genuine 100% “DRY-lubrication” system using a special PTFE product. Traditionally, transport chains of bottling lines are lubricated with water and soap, or other additives of various kinds. This leads to a series of related problems, iincluding bacterial growth in wet conditions, technical problems between foam and sensors, Health & Safety risks due to wet floors, extensive use of water, and other issues.

This product guarantees the total absence of water. With this solution the customer changes from a ‘flowing’ lubrication ( with water ) to a ‘static’ lubrication whereby Teflon® adheres to the surface of the chain and remains in place. It is a solid, inert material, which does not react chemically with anything that is not a component of Teflon® itself. As an industrial lubricant it can only be removed by using specific products, or by abrasion of the type which occurs in bottling lines. This is why we have developed a new automatic lubrication system using lubrication slide-units ( mounted inside and outside of all conveyor belts) which can maintain a constant film of lubricant.

In the case of PTFE lubricants, their properties allow the particles to adhere to the surface of the chain by electrostatic polarity difference. This means that they cannot overlap because they repel each other and, therefore, this results in minimum quantities of lubricant being required.

Lubrication Benefits:

• Environmental. - lubrication totally without use of water. • Quality, our lubricant is clean, odorless and colorless. • Safe lubricant registered in class H1 by NSF for use in the food environment. • Health - does not promote mold growth nor bacteria proliferation. • Economy - very low quantities of lubricant are used. • Process benefit - no generation of foam, drip-trays can be removed • Protection - against oxidation and corrosion, prolonging life duration. • Noise reduction – substantial reduction of motor energy absorption • Friction reduction - drastic reduction of friction and greater stability of the transported bottles,

cans etc. • Cleaning – basic broom sweeping to be done approx. once per month (depending on use of plant)

for stainless steel chains please see below.

The DN-Group dry lubrication solution is particularly effective when used with plastic chains. However, with stainless- steel chains it is effective as well, but being a static lubricant it enhances the typical problems of dirt accumulation (Graphite Thermo-Residues from Glass) which needs to be cleaned regularly. A special cleaning process is, upon request, provided by DN-Group for all stainless-steel chains.

OS = Operating Service Hour Our DN lubricant does not just show a significant lower consumption rate but it has an important additional advantage as well. With the same Technology (however with separate sections) BEARINGS can be lubricated as well. Generally one bearing needs 3cm³ grease per 100 OSH. Normal dosage at initial grease filling of bearings is 0,05 cm³/10 OSH. Therefore, 0,5 cm³ per bearing for 100 OSH are required. In fact 500 bearings require 50 kg of grease. Using our DN- Dry-Lubricant only 7-8 kg/Liter are needed.
