Identified by Lonely Planet as ‘Australia’s most indulgent getaway’ destination, the Daylesford and Macedon Ranges is renowned for its natural beauty, our Swiss-Italian heritage, artisan produce and a proliferation of diverse, high-quality wines, produce,

restaurants, cafés and chefs.

You’ll find something for everyone here. If you like to eat, indulge in the fabulous foodie scene - from casual grazing to multi-award winning tasting menus and everything in between - or relax with a spa treatment, and take in the arty, alternative vibe. The local population is an interesting blend of hipsters and old-timers, and there’s also a thriving gay and lesbian scene here. There’s great shopping, art studios, and beautiful forests, lakes and mountains. Why not come and stay for a while in one of our many B&Bs, hotels, spa resorts or cosy cottages. Or just pop up for a day trip… we’re just 80 minutes away from

Melbourne’s CBD.

A message from our chairHand on heart I can truly say that this is looking to be our best Harvest Festival yet. The many talented members of our wonderful Daylesford Macedon Produce group, award-winning chefs, brewers, winemakers, growers and producers, have been super busy putting together a program of great events and very special offers for our community and visitors alike. So get involved, get your hands dirty, learn some cooking tricks, enjoy great food, wine, cider and beer, engage in debate about food issues, visit farms, farmer’s markets and above all, come,

meet the locals whilst visiting this, our very beautiful little corner of the world . We’re all looking forward to welcoming you.
