Introduction

SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management comprises a server and client component as well a BWconnector. This guide provides information on the installation of the components.

The SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management client is a COM-add-in in Microsoft Excel, MicrosoftWord and Microsoft Powerpoint. After successful installation, the Microsoft Office applications displaya ribbon which allows easy access to SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management features.

The SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management BW connector is used to extract data from a SAPBW system.

Note:The BW connector uses standard SAP NetWeaver BW applications. The applications use the SAPABAP environment and objects, Business Server Pages (BSP), JavaScript, HTML and Cascading StyleSheets (CSS).

2.1 Preparation of SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Server Installation

To install the server correctly, check if the following prerequisites are met:• Requirements• Configuration of Microsoft IIS 7.0 Web Server

2.1.1 Requirements

The following components are required for installing and running the SAP BusinessObjects DisclosureManagement server:• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or 2008• Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 with service pack 1• Microsoft IIS 6 or higher

Note:If you use Microsoft IIS 7, you have to carry out additional configuration tasks. For more information,see Configuration of Microsoft IIS 7.0 Web Server.

SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management supports the following relational database managementsystems (RDBMS):• Microsoft SQL Server 2005• Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Note:You need administrator rights to carry out the installation. Windows and web server configuration maybe necessary. The prerequisites are documented in the Microsoft guides.

2.1.2 Configuring IIS 6.0 on 64-bit Windows Server OS

To run IIS 6.0 on a 64-bit Windows Server 2003, carry out the following steps:1. Enable IIS 6.0 to run 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows. Proceed as follows:

a. Open a command prompt and navigate to the following directory: %systemdrive%\Inetpub\AdminScripts.

b. Enter the following command: cscript.exe.adsutil.vbs set W3SVC/AppPools/Enable32BitApOnWin64 true.

c. Choose ENTER.2. Register ASP.NET 2.0 32-bit.

a. Open a command prompt and navigate to the following directory: %sysemroot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\.

b. Enter the following command: aspnet_regiis -i.c. Choose ENTER.

3. Enable ASP.NET 32-bit.a. Open the IIS "Manager Console".b. Navigate to "Web Service Extensions".c. Set status for the "ASP.NET v2.0.50727 (32-bit)" entry to "Allowed."

2.1.3 Configuration of Microsoft IIS 7.0 Web Server

To configure Microsoft IIS 7.0 web server, carry out the following steps:• Enabling Static Content• Switching IIS 7.0 to 32 bit

2.1.3.1 Enabling Static Content

1. Start the Server Manager.2. In the "Roles" folder, right-clickWeb Server (IIS) to display the context menu.3. Select Add Roles Services.4. In the "Add Role Services" dialog box, select the following items:

• Static Content (Installed)

5. Click Install to activate the role services.

2.1.3.2 Switching IIS 7.0 to 32 bit

1. Start the Microsoft IIS Manager.2. Change the following Advanced Settings of the Application Pools:

• Select True for "Enable 32-Bit Applications".

• Select Integrated for "Managed Pipeline Mode".

3. Close the dialog box.

2.2 Installing SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Server

• Make sure that the port you use is not owned by another web application. If the port is used by thedefault web application, stop this application.

• With SQL server version 2008 and earlier, you need to verify that the database authentication to beused in the setup is the same as the one in the security settings of the SQL server.

Note:If you update SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management from a previous version, create a backupof the database before starting the installation process. Use the standard tools from Microsoft SQLserver to create the backup.

To install the server, proceed as follows:1. Download the installation file from the SAP AG customer site.2. Unzip the file.3. Double-click the installer package to start the installation wizard.4. In the InstallShield Wizard dialog box, click Next.5. Enter the database server and click Browse to navigate to the required server.6. Select one of the following options for connecting to the database:

• Windows authentication to connect to the server with the same username and password usedfor access to the Windows system.

• Server authentication to enter an existing login ID and the related password.

7. Enter the name of the database catalog in which the metadata of the database objects is to be storedor click Browse to navigate to the required catalog.

8. Click Next.9. Select one of the following connection types for the SQL server and SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure

Management server:• Windows authentication

The technical user to be created is identical to the NT user.

• Server authentication

The technical user to be created can be different from the SQL user.

Enter an existing Login ID and Password.

10. Enter the administrator username and password.11. Re-enter the password for password confirmation purposes.12. Click Next and confirm the information on the web resources displayed in the dialog box.13. Enter the following information:

• Name of the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management web site• TCP-IP address of the web site• TCP Port• Description• Physical directory of the web site. Click Browse to navigate to the directory in which the SAP

BusinessObjects Disclosure Management web site is to be stored.

14. Click Next, then Install to start the installation process.15. Click Finish when the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management server has been successfully

installed.

The installation wizard applies the following changes to the system during the installation process:• Creates and updates the following:

• Database tables• roleER database role• Schemes linked to the roleER role• Database user (if defined) linked to the roleER role• SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management user (if defined)• Default contents for SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management within the database• IIS web site

• Copies the runtime information to the physical directory of the IIS web site.• Registers the aspnet_isap.dll for the web site in order to activate ASP.NET MVC.

2.3 Post-Installation of SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Server

The post-installation for the server comprises the following issues:• Testing Server Installation• Activating Detailed Error Messages• Configuring Virtual SMTP Server• Configuring Server• Uploading Configuration File for Data Source Connections• Using WebDAV

2.3.1 Testing Server Installation

To test the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management server connection, proceed as follows:1. Open an internet browser and enter URL: http://<host>:<port>/ using the host name and

port settings you entered for the setup of the IIS web site.The system displays the login form for SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management.

2. Enter the administrator name and the password defined during the installation process.3. Click Login.

2.3.2 Activating Detailed Error Messages

If the setup has been successfully completed, but the web site cannot be loaded, you can modify theweb.config file to gerenate a detailed error message that you can send to the IT support team.1. Navigate to the directory in which you have installed SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management.2. Open the web.config file.3. Change the value in the customerrors-tag from On to Off.4. Save your changes.

2.3.3 Configuring Virtual SMTP Server

If no SMTP server is installed, install and configure this server manually.1. Open the Microsoft IIS manager.2. Right-click the link for the virtual SMTP server.3. Select Properties.4. In the "Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties" dialog box, click the Access tab.

5. Click Authentication.6. Select Anonymous access and click OK.7. Click Connection.8. Select All except this list below and click OK.9. Click Relay.10. Select All except this list below and click OK.11. Click Apply to save your changes.

2.3.4 Configuring Server

After installing the server, configure the server as follows:1. Set the system configuration:

a. In SAPBusinessObjects DisclosureManagement, go toAdministration >SystemConfiguration.b. On the Misc tab, in the Root folder for the Web-service box, fill in the server name and the

port number.c. Update the following information on every tab: e-mail, misc, licence, upload, plugins, content

refresh.

2. Set the content refresh files:a. Navigate to Administration > Content Refresh > Configuration.b. Configure and upload the config20.xml file. For more information, see Uploading Configuration

File for Data Source Connections.c. Upload the BIP_WordTableDef.doc file.d. Upload the BIP_WordTableTagging.xml file.

3. Register the render plug-ins:a. Navigate to Administration > Plugins .b. Register all plug-ins needed to create reports.

4. Assign global permissions to the administration user.You can also create a new superuser including the following roles:• Standard-Admin• Standard-Readonly• Standard-Editor• Standard-Manager

5. If you are working with XBRL reports, start validation service:a. On the server, go to the [InstallDir] directory.b. In the ValidationService folder, run the Install.bat file.c. Enter your domain user as the login ID and your password.

2.3.5 Uploading Configuration File for Data Source Connections

The configuration of data source connections is stored in the file config20.xml. You can use this fileboth on the client and on the server.

If you want to make data sources available to all users, we recommend that you create a configurationfor these data source connections on a client and then upload the config20.xml file to the server.For information on setting up data source connections on the client, see Configuring Data SourceConnections.

To make it easier for the users, create a config20.xml file, which only includes the connection to theSAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management server, and copy the file to the application folder of eachuser.

If you upload a config20.xml file to the system, the existing file will be overwritten. To keep theexisting file as an offline backup, you can download it.1. In Disclosure Management, on the Administration tab, click the Content refresh link.2. On the Configuration tab, in the section for the config20.xml file, click Browse ...3. Navigate to the config20.xml file, then click Open.4. Click Add file.

2.3.6 Using WebDAV

SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management uses web-based distributed authoring and versioning(WebDAV) for accessing the server database and enabling distributed web authoring.

If you use WebDAV:1. The following characters are not allowed in chapter, report or period names: / \ < > * " ? | § ' ² ³ % :

+ & ° ,2. You cannot create a chapter, report or period name that ends in a dot; for example, chapter.3. You cannot create a chapter, report or period name with two or more consecutive dots in the name;

for example, period..1

2.3.6.1 Accessing Web Documents via WebDAV in Read-Only Mode

1. Open a Microsoft Office application and click File > Open.

2. In the "Open" dialog box, enter http://<host>:<port>/Webdav in the "File name" box.3. Click Open.

A read-only version of your selected file appears.

Tip:

You can connect your frequently used WebDAV folders as a network drive in Windows Explorer. Whenconnecting theWebDAV folder, make sure that the "W" is written in upper case. The directory is orderedby the folders for the respective periods. Each period folder contains the following subfolders:• DataCache• Document• XBRL Taxonomy

Each subfolder contains subfolders for the report and its chapters.

3.1 Preparation of SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Client Installation

This section provides information on preparing the installation. The following topics are affected:• Hardware Requirements• Software Requirements• Configuration Requirements for SAP NetWeaver BW• Authorization Requirements and Security Settings• Upgrading Client

3.1.1 Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements for the client component are the following:• Network-compatible machine• Approximately 30 MB of disk space• Monitor display resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixel• 1 GB random-access memory

3.1.2 Software Requirements

SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management requires the installation of the following software:• Windows 2000, Windows XP with service pack 2, Windows Vista or Windows 7• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 with service pack 1• Microsoft XML Parser (Windows XP standard component)• One of the following Microsoft Office versions:

• Microsoft Office XP (service pack 1 or higher)• Microsoft Office 2003 (service pack 1 or higher, especially on Windows 2000)

• Microsoft Office 2007 (service pack 1 is necessary)• Microsoft Office 2010 (32bit)

Note:Only the 32-bit version of Microsoft Office 2010 is supported.

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher

Note:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is only supported for Englisch and German.

3.1.3 Configuration Requirements for SAP NetWeaver BW

The client must support an HTTP or HTTPS connection to the SAP NetWeaver BW server.

The corresponding proxy and firewall settings may need adjustment.

3.1.4 Authorization Requirements and Security Settings

It is recommended to install the software for the local user rather than for all users. To do so, the personwho executes the installation needs authorization to write registry entries and read/write access to theinstallation directory.

Check the following security settings on the client:• The .NET framework security level must be set to high (default) to allow the registration of the DLL

files.• The macro security settings for each Microsoft Office application must be changed in the trust center:

• Click the Enable all macros radio button in the "Macro Setting" area.• Select the Trust access to the VBA project object model checkbox in the "Developer Macro

Settings" area.

To access the Microsoft Office application macro settings:1. Open the application and click File > Options,then click Trust Center in the navigation area.2. Click Trust Center Settings.3. In the navigation area, click Macro Settings.

3.1.5 Upgrading Client

SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management 10.0 SP01 uses a different client installer software tothat in the previous version.

If SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management 10.0 SP01 is installed, you can update the clientwithout uninstalling the client component.If you upgrade from SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management 10.0 (client version 10.0.0.24) toSAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management 10.0 SP01 or higher, proceed as follows:1. Uninstall and remove the application completely from your machine.

For more information, see Uninstalling SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management from Client.

2. Restart your machine.3. Install the new version of the client component.

For more information, see Installing SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Client.

3.2 Installing SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Client

To install the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management client, proceed as follows:1. Download the installation zip file from the SAP AG customer site.2. Unzip the file and double-click the *.exe file to start the installation wizard.3. To run the installer with administrator privileges, right-click the *.exe file, click Run as ..., and enter

the user name and password of a user who has administration rights on the client machine.4. Confirm the welcome message and the installed components.5. Select the program language and click Next.6. If you want to change the destination folder, click Browse and select another folder.7. Click Next to install the application and start updating the system.8. When the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management client has been successfully installed,

click Finish.

The installation wizard SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management inserts the COM-add-ins intothe Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint applications.

The wizard stores program and configuration files in the following standard directories:• Program files:<program files folder>\SAP BusinessObjects\Disclosure Management• Configuration file: <user folder>\Application Data\cundus AG\cundusBIPublisher

3.3 Post-Installation of SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management Client

The post-installation of the client comprises the following tasks:• Configuring Data Source Connections• Testing the Installation

3.3.1 Configuring Data Source Connections

The installation wizard of SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management deploys the configuration fileconfig20.xml to the local user application data directory. This file contains the complete configurationof SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management on the client machine, including the connected datasources.

To enable quick access to data sources for all users, the IT administrator can preconfigure config20.xml with the required data sources and copy it to each individual machine or store it on a fileserver. The latter solution is useful in a centralized environment.

The maintenance of access authorization to data sources is restricted.

Data sources can be locked so that users cannot edit or delete data sources. For more information,see Configuring File for Data Source Lock.

3.3.1.1 Configuring File for Data Source Lock

You enter the lock directly into the configuration file.1. Navigate to [user folder]\cundus AG\cundusBIPublisher.2. Open the config20.xml file.3. Locate the data source you want to lock and then locate the following conding within it:

<Locked>0</Locked>.4. To lock the datat source, change 0 to 1.5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for each data source you want to lock.6. Click File > Save to save your changes.

3.3.2 Testing the Installation

When SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management is successfully installed, test the COM-add-insin the Microsoft Office applications.

Note:

For validation purposes, it is sufficient to test one application only. It may be necessary to change thesame settings in every application.

This section comprises the following tasks:• Starting Disclosure Management in a Microsoft Office Application• Activating COM-Add-Ins in Microsoft Office Applications

3.3.2.1 Starting Disclosure Management in a Microsoft Office Application

1. Start a Microsoft Office application directly or open a document on the SAP BusinessObjectsDisclosure Management server for editing .The Disclosure Management ribbon or menu item appears.If a ribbon or menu item does not appear, activate the COM-add-in in the application. For moreinformation, see Activating COM-Add-Ins in Microsoft Office Applications.

2. On the Disclosure Management ribbon or menu, click Start.The system adds additional options to the ribbon or menu.

3.3.2.2 Activating COM-Add-Ins in Microsoft Office Applications

Execute the following steps for for Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint.1. Start the Microsoft Office application.2. Click File > Options.3. In the "Options" dialog box, click Add-Ins.4. Click COM-Add-Ins from the list and click Go.5. In the COM-add-ins dialog box, select DisclosureManagementConnector and click OK to apply

your changes.

3.4.1 Uninstalling SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management from Client

1. To remove SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management from the client, use one of the followingprocedures:• In the Windows control panel, use the Remove Program function to uninstall SAP

BusinessObjects Disclosure Management.• Uninstall the application by using Setup.exe:

a. Open the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management installation folder.b. Double-click the setup.exe file.c. Click Remove and then OK.d. Click OK again.

2. The wizard uninstalls the application.

When uninstalling the program, the file is not deleted, and can be reused for subsequent installations.

To enable web services, the following procedures are technically enabled:• Establishing and Connecting Web Services Manually

You can create and connect each web service separately. This procedure is recommended by SAP.

• Activating ICF Node for RFC Calls

You can activate the ICF node and use every RFC-enabled object as a web service.

Caution:For securtiy reasons, SAP does not recommend this procedure. It is recommended to establish theweb services manually.

You have administration rights on your machine.

You establish web services and connect them to the virtual endpoints manually.

Note:You have to establish the web services separately on every BW system which you want to communicatewith a SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure Management client. For more information, see SAPNote1318499.

To enable all RFC objects as web services, proceed as follows:1. On the BW server, use transaction SICF.2. Activate the /default_host/sap/bc/soap/rfc object .

This procedure is technically enabled but for security reasons SAP recommends that the web servicesare established manually. For more information, see Establishing and Connecting Web ServicesManually.

To enable RFC, choose one of the following options:• Assign the corresponding access right directly to the user.

• In case the situation requires a more detailed authorization situation, assign the user to the functiongroup /CUNDUS/*

Make sure, that every user has the appropriate rights to execute the function modules.

4.3.4.1 Determining Default Host and Port

To find the default host name and port number of the SAP BusinessObjects Disclosure ManagementBW connector, proceed as follows:1. On SAP BW server, enter transaction SMICM to start the Internet Communication Manager.2. Click Go to > Services.

The system displays a list of the configured services.

4.3.4.2 Displaying List of Web Services

1. Open an internet browser.2. Enter the following URL:

http://defaulthost:port/sap/bc/bsp/sap/WebServiceBrowser/search.html

A list of web services is displayed.
