What happens if I have a complaint?We are committed to providing you with a first class service at all times. If, however,
you are not happy with any part of the service you have received then you should
initially contact the scheme manager:

If a complaint remains unresolved, you may refer it to the Financial
Ombudsman Service (FOS) provided that it falls within their jurisdiction.

The FOSs decision is binding upon the insurer, but the insured is free to reject it

4. ANCILLARY RELIEFAND CHALLENGE TO YOURNUPTIAL AGREEMENT
The insurer will not cover: a claim unless your solicitor advises
you have a greater than 50% chance ofupholding your nuptial agreement and/or ofsucceeding in your claim;
10% of legal costs & expenses incurred afterthe failure of mediation;
a dispute with your spouse over the terms
of your nuptial agreement where divorce ordissolution is not contemplated;
a claim if your nuptial agreement is notreviewed within 6 months after the birthor adoption of a child or the incapacity ordisablement of you or your spouse resultingin unemployment for at least three monthsor any other event that significantly affectsyour wealth.

wishes to think that things may not work out. However, if you have
protected your financial assets by entering into a nuptial agreement
then the extra security of a Divorce Legal Solutions policy is a
natural addition.
Take out cover todayThis policy provides insurance against your legal costs and expenses
arising out of:
mediation
issuing or responding to a petition
divorce proceedings to final decree
ancillary relief and challenge to your nuptial agreement.
Claims procedureIf you have a claim, contact the solicitor that sold you this cover.
They will check that cover applies for your claim and provided that you are covered,
attempt mediation and then advise on the best course of action to follow.
Under no circumstances should you contact a solicitor that has not been approved
by us. The insurer will not pay the legal costs & expenses and it could stop you being
covered.
What happens if I change my mind after takingout the policy?The policy provides you with a 21 day reflection period in which to decide whether you
wish to continue. Cancellation is fully explained in condition 7 of the policy wording.
About us and your insurerARAG plc is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (firm
reference no. 452369) and is authorised to administer this insurance on behalf of
AmTrust Europe Limited who underwrite this policy. You can check this by visiting the

What happens if the insurer cannot meet itsliabilities?AmTrust Europe Limited is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme
(FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation of up to 90% of the cost of your claim
in the unlikely event that the Insurer cannot meet its obligations. Further information
about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.
