Students preferred TCI. The topics of the chapters are thematic with strong alignment of texts and online support. The text is written in a narrative style and focuses on the main takeaways; thereby outlining the essential information. It feels like a departure from the more traditional textbook model. These are culturally responsive texts that include a variety of experiences in the narrative. Item #11.8
