Robust Wireless

The upgraded JSU wireless network supports the growth of wireless on the campus with improved coverage, performance and reliability.

Robust Network meets mobile generation needs. With increase usage of mobile devices and execution of the iPad initiative, wireless network was improved to run on the latest wireless standard, 802.11n, providing increased transmission speed and throughput.

During the FY 2013 year, the JSU wireless network was expanded to cover all academic buildings on the JSU main campus, off-site buildings and dorms.
