A Letter From Your LTG… Hello Division 18,
Throughout this special edition of our division
18 newsletter you will find information about
important upcoming district and divisional events.
International Convention and Regional Training
Conferences are quickly approaching. Please read
over the information carefully (some due dates are
quickly approaching!) and let me know if you have
any questions. If you are having trouble printing any
of these documents just let me know. Also I am
planning a president’s council meeting (a
gathering of all club presidents and officers) some
time in June. I will let you all know when I have more
specifics on this event. I look forward to seeing you
all soon!

New Jersey District of Key Club
Imagine this – over 2,00 Key Clubbers from around the world gathered in one room…
at the same time….for the same cause. From July 7 – July 10, Key clubbers from
Districts around the world will come together to celebrate another year of Service to
our homes, schools and communities. This year it will take place at the 67th Annual
Key Club International Convention in Memphis, Tennessee
There will always be something to do, whether it is evaluating this year’s candidates
for Key Club International office, hearing a motivational speaker or learning more
about the phenomenal programs that Key Club International offers, or dancing!!
The New Jersey District of Key Club will be traveling by bus to Memphis for the Key
Club International Convention. We will leave New Jersey from two locations yet to
be determined. on Sunday July 4, 2010 at 8 AM and the second location at 9 AM .
We will arrive in Sandusky, OH at Cedar Point Amusement Park at 5 PM and spend
the evening there and see the Fire Works. We will stay in Sandusky overnight and
return to the park in the morning and stay till 3 PM. We will then leave Sandusky and
travel south toward Memphis stopping in Nashville on Monday evening.
On Tuesday morning we will go into Memphis and visit Graceland and have dinner
at Neely’s BBG and spend the night at a Holiday Inn express in Memphis. On
Wednesday we will visit the Memphis Zoo and the Civil Rights Museum and visit Beal
St in downtown Memphis, before we check into the Marriott for the convention.
The convention will run from Wednesday night to Saturday night at the Marriott
Hotel, beginning with a Concert and Meet and Greet session on Wednesday
evening.
Sunday morning we will check out of the Marriott and start home spending the night
in Wytheville, VA. Monday morning we will leave Wytheville, VA and start home
arriving in New Jersey at about 7 PM.
The package, is $ 850.00 quad occupancy for students, which includes convention
registration fee, transportation, hotels, tours, two dinner meals, continental breakfast
each morning while traveling, and a breakfast in our suite while at the convention.
Also included are admissions to all parks and venues we will visit. All other food
expenses are your responsibility. The first payment of $450.00 is due no later than
May 15, 2010 to the address below:
