Southern Cross Logistix is part of a Group of transport companies that have over 400 vehicle and transport goods across South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. I was appointed as the accountant of Southern Cross Logistix when the financial responsibility became too large for the head offices in Cape Town to bear. All accounting, budgeting, cash flow projection and payroll responsibilities were handed over to me. Southern Cross Logistix management soon after placed me second in control of the depot. It was my responsible to create an accounting system allowing for effortless processing and upkeep of thousands of financial transaction on a monthly basis.
