Ambassadorial Scholarships• Scholarships to students who:

– Study abroad– Ambassadors of good will– Improve international understanding

• Single year, $27,000 grant• Applications from District due Oct. 1• At least two years college• Language proficiency in host country• Not available to Rotarians

Rotary Peace Fellowships

• Two types:– Individuals pursuing Masters degree in

International Relations, Peace, Conflict Resolution, etc.

– Individuals pursuing professional development certificate in peace and conflict resolution

• Applications due July 1

• 50 Masters and 50 prof. dev. cert. per year

• Rotarians not eligible

Basics of an MG• Fund humanitarian projects• Club(s) where project located: Host• Club(s) giving additional funds:

International (must be a different “country”)

• Both Districts participate, as does TRF• Apply by March 31• TRF contribution: $5K (min) and $200K

• Only certain types of projects qualify

• Host club(s) must contribute min. of $100

• Hosts can only have 5 open at a time

• Strict reporting requirements

• Invoices not required, but may be requested

• Indicate exchange rate

• DRFC chair and DG must authorize use of DDF

• All signatures must be submitted with the application (otherwise application will not be processed)

– Should include input from both sponsors

• Club / district handling grant funds should take the lead in reporting
