The Ohio Department of Transportation is the state agency responsible for the maintenance and construction activities on Ohio’s transportation system, including federal and state routes outside of municipalities, and all interstate routes.

Each spring, we shift our priority from snow and ice operations to construction and maintenance investments in our state’s transportation system. Our yearly plans are outlined in our district construction programs.

This construction program outlines plans within ODOT District 2, which serves Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams, and Wood counties in northwest Ohio. District 2 is responsible for:
