Patton’s Metal Working Solutions has been the premierfull-line metal distributor and steel service center in the Southwest market since 1959.
Patton’s is here for you with a superior inventory and seven Southern California retail locations, with next day delivery to most of the Southwest region. Our state-of-the-art distribution center, centrally located in Ontario, was designed and built around the concept of processing orders in a timely manner, maximizing our variety of clean material, and providing exceptional service and accountability.
At Patton’s Metal Working Solutions, we partner with our customers to provide a large array of materials and competitively priced products and processing. With a professional and courteous sales team and huge selection, Patton’s is here to provide solutions to the needs of our customers.
Our distribution and delivery services developed over 50 years, offer a systematic operation designed to meet the wide-ranging requirements of the structural fabrication, manufacturing, welding, off-road fabrication and ornamental steel industries.
Our seven regional locations allow for immediate will-call services and in-stock materials. Our next day delivery services are second to none and available on almost any order placed in-store, via e-mail or over the phone.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our loyal team members, vendors, customers and the excellent quality of service that we have provided for more than half a century. Patton’s will continue its strength in the ever changing market and economy by sticking fast to our business morals and practices, including fair and competitive pricing and our excellent reputation in the steel services industry.
Before the inception of Patton’s Metal Working Solutions, the history of the company began with the Novack family scrap metal business started in the early 1900’s. Alex Novack was a creative business man who bought and sold scrap metals in and around the Inland Empire. With a lot of perseverance and fortitude, the Novack family created a scrap metals yard,Alex Novack and Sons, that for years was alandmark operation in the region. In 1959, Alex’s son, Bud Novack, launcheda new venture located across the street andcalled it Patton Sales, named after PattonStreet in Ontario. Bud sold usable materials out of scrap piles at a greatly reduced price. He quickly expanded his offerings to include military surplus, secondary steel products, surplus industrial products, used office furniture and more. The company flourished under Bud’s leadership and, as he outgrew the facility, the company moved to its present Ontario location at 558 East California Street. Soon, Patton’s was in the business of selling new and used steel, surplus tools and office furniture.
The family’s next generation entered the business in the 1970’s, and Jacob Zeidman and Jon Novack took the company to the next level molding it into the regional steel service center that it has become. Currently, third generation family members also work for the business, helping to support thegrowth of the company and Patton’s family.
Today, Patton’s is an industry leader in new metals, industrial metal working equipment and tools for the metal working industry. The company operates seven locations, growing and expanding into the market, with trucking facilities making daily deliveries throughout the Southwest region.
For five decades, the face of Patton’s has continued to be our regional locations throughout Southern California. Our reputation for having what our customers need comes from years of knowing exactly what to have readily available in any one of our seven regional locations.
