Introduction

The foundation of system proM is protection. This primarily consistsof MCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, Isolators and a host of other modulardevices. Based on System proM, ABB’s S-series of DistributionBoards meet all the requirements of modern installation fordomestic, commercial or industrial applications.

Construction

Blending aesthetics, functionality and safety, the S-seriesof ABB Distribution Boards are manufactured with high precision,extra thick and high quality CRCA steel sheets. These DistributionBoards undergo a seven-tank phosphating process to ensureanti-rust conditioning, superior finish and lasting strength. Premierquality powder coating is applied using the latest techniques.

Colours

In addition to meeting all the technical requirements, ABB’sS-series of Distribution Boards come in two shades, StandardIvory (RAL 9010) and Structural Grey (RAL 7035), allowing youan aesthetically pleasing choice.

Installation

S-series of ABB Distribution Boards are universal mounting type,which means that they can be either flush or wall mounted. TheseDistribution Boards are provided with removable top and bottomgland plates with adequate numbers of knockout, enabling easyinstallation and connection of conduits of all sizes for top andbottom entry of cables. Double door construction of DistributionBoards facilitates easy removal of door intermediate plate.A 150 correction is possible if the metal box is wrongly installed.

Protection

S-series Distribution Boards offer two types of protection-IP42degree with a metal door and IP20 degree without a door. Thehighest degree of attention has been paid to the safety aspect ofthe Distribution Boards, considering that they are installed in closeproximity to people. An intermediate plate ensures total safety, asno live parts are exposed when the door is opened.

The Range

The S-series offers a wide range of ABBDistribution Boards based on incoming andoutgoing configurations.

These boards can have various types ofincoming devices like Isolators, MCBs,RCCBs, RCBOs or MCCBs. As a standard,these boards come with 100A tinnedelectrolytic copper busbar (shorting links),neutral bar, earth bar and cable ties for cablemanagement.

SHC – Single phase (SPN) DistributionBoards with provision for 2P incoming and upto 14SP outgoing.

ACP – ABS thermo-plastic Acrylic ConsumerPanel (ACP) with provision for incoming2 pole (MCB / Isolator / RCD) and singlephase outgoing. Suitable for flush mounting.

SHDB – Three phase (TPN) DistributionBoards with provision for 8P at incoming and12SP outgoing per phase

SEN – These are one-way enclosures withuniversal mounting suitable for SP, DP, TPand FP MCBs.

SHPPI – Horizontal per-phase IsolationDistribution Board with provision for 8 pole(MCB / Isolator / RCD) as incomer andprovision for 2 pole (MCB / Isolator / RCD)sub-incomers with single phase outgoings.

SVTDB – This range of Distribution Boardscan take MCBs (up to 125A) or Isolators (upto 125A) or MCCBs (up to 250A) as incomer.The outgoing can be TP or SP, as required.

SPS – Phase selector Distribution Boardswith provision of mounting phase selectorswitches.

S7SEG – These are a special type ofDistribution Boards with seven segregations,offering complete separation betweenincomer and outgoing.

SVFL – Total flexibility as per site needs –configuration as per your choice of incomer& outgoings. Supply busbars need to beselected.

SVDB – This range comprises verticalDistribution Boards with 4 tier configurationwith 8 pole incomer at the bottom and SPoutgoing per phase. These DistributionBoards offer per phase isolation by virtue of aseparate neutral link provided for each phase.

SGK – This range offers a wide variety ofplug sockets up to 63A, which can be usedfor single phase or three phase along withMCB or RCBO.

Horizontal single phase consumer unit with provision for 2 pole (MCB / Isolator / RCD) incoming and single phase outgoing.

These Distribution Boards come with neutral link, earth link and 100A tinned electrolytic copper busbar. Top and bottom, removable glandplates with knockouts. Mounting of these boards can be flush or surface.
