Work Experience• Worked for 20 years with San Miguel Corporation’s Operations Research (OR) Department. Under her watch, SMC was given the Operations Research Society of America (ORSA)Prize in 1992 for ‘sustained and consistent use of OR In  organizational decision-making’, the 1st non-American Company to win the award. Retired in 2000 as Vice President. • Lectured at the UP Graduate School of Engineering and Accenture’s  Operations Management for BPO Operations MBA Program • Since 2003, Chief Financial Officer of One Small StepForward Foundation, Inc., the family advocacy set up by the del Rosario couple. .

Professional Contributions• President  of  the 50-year old 30,000 member strong InternationalFederation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS) from 2007-2009,  the 1st woman and only 2nd Asian to be elected to the post. • Founding Member and 2nd President of the Operations Research Society of  the Philippines.  President  of  the  Asia  Pacific Operations  Research Society (APORS), 2002-2005.
