Common set of information

Easily accessible information about the ESS should be provided to the users in their own language allowing them to go into depth if they require it.

The selection criterion for these 20 tables is based on two principles:

– to have information about all statistical domains– to have the most visited tables from the Eurostat website.

Common set of tables A flexible approach in terms of the presentation and

structure of these tables is proposed: – from links to the Eurostat website – to an integrated presentation with the usual tools of each

NSI and translation of contents.

All NSIs and Eurostat should set up and maintain a section in their websites, preferably linked from the home page, with a common set of institutional information about the ESS and a common set of European tables, in their own languages.
