The Lion king (1994) is also the highest rated film that Disney has made.

Disney specialised in these family films and succeeded by including adult humour and references to provide entertainment for the parents as well as the childish fairy-tale story line that are included in most films that were made in the studio or produced by Disney.

Success and Strengths

Disney have had a lot of very successful films as

they have made most childrens books into films including all the classics such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, The Lion King and Beauty and The Beast.

But in saying this we were surprised to find out that Marvels “The Avengers” as the most successful film in gross terms, making a total of $1.501 Billion Dollars. We noticed that “The Lion King” didn’t seem that successful as we thought with $940 million dollars but that was in 1994, but in todays currency value it is worth $1.499 Billion Dollars so that is a very close 2nd.
