• Please do not pick up students at airport. We will depart PHL and arrive back to RHS by 11:30 PM.

• All students are required to attend school and be on time the next day. Please do not abuse this, we will all be in it together.

Luggage Check In• Wednesday March 18th, RHS Bus loop• All equipment will be loaded onto the truck on Wed. evening

before we load our suitcases onto the truck. Please help bring all items from the band room out to the loop.

• All suitcases will be checked by chaperones before being placed on the truck, they will be opened, please follow NTSA guidelines for prohibited items. Students must pack their own shoes, socks and band shirt in a bag and put it in their uniform bag. Please have your luggage and instrument marked with your name and address. Carry on can come the next day, it will be checked before entering the bus. No liquids in carry on.

• Bring a $5.00 bill for a housekeeping tip, it will be collected. • We will load USAIR luggage in the back of the truck for easy

access.

Departure Info

• Report directly to the bus loop after school for carryon check and bus check in. We will depart RHS at 3:00 PM for PHL. YOU MUST HAVE ID to board the bus

• USAIR will be dropped off first, we will unload luggage and you will collect luggage and go to the inside USAIR counter to check in with Mrs. Whitcomb & Mr. Cardamone, go through security and go directly to the gate. Role will be taken and directions given.

• Southwest will follow the same procedure.

Arrival at MCO

• We will travel with our groups to baggage claim to claim our own luggage.

• Then we will follow signs to basement to Disney’s Magical Express for transport to Hotel. Role will be taken and then we will either board Disney or private buses, (Still working on that)

Arrival at Hotel

• You will claim your own luggage off the bus and one person from each room will get a box with your magic bands inside. Each band has the students name on the inside. This is your room key. Proceed to your room and wait for pizza and drinks to be delivered. I will send a text when and where to get it. Room check will start after we determine a good time.

Morning check in with Chaps.• You will be assigned a chaperone for the entire trip. They are your primary

contact and information disseminator. They should be given the utmost respect, and if there are any problems, they will contact Mr. Drew & Maria. Please exchange your phone numbers with them.

• Rise every morning at the assigned time (TBA) Dress and pack for the entire day. YOU MAY NOT RETURN TO THE HOTEL UNTIL THE SCHEDULED TIME. YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR ROOMS.

• Report to your chaperone room and turn in your Magic Band, in exchange you will receive a breakfast gift card worth $12.00 and a dinner coupon. These items can not be replaced if you loose them. The card may be used for food only anywhere in the parks or hotel. EAT BREAKFAST. Dinner may be used at the locations listed on the back, it is good for a complete dinner and drink, no dessert. Lunch is on you.

• You will receive any directions for the entire day.

Tickets & Fast Passes

• You will get a park ticket, please take a picture of the back of the card so that you have the number in case you lose it.

• This card will also be your Fast Pass not your Magic Band.

• If you lose it, you must go to guest services at the parks and show them the picture to get a new one. If there is a problem, call your chaperone.

Parks and Shuttles

• When you are done breakfast at the hotel proceed to the shuttle buses out front. You may pick what park you want to go to for the day, and you may park hop. You must tell your chaperone what park you are going to and you must check in one time throughout the day.

• Friday, Jazz will have a workshop at 6:00 PM in Epcot and Saturday, everyone should go to Magic Kingdom. We will perform in the 3:00 PM parade. More details to follow shortly.

Return to the Hotel• You must make your way back to the hotel at

the assigned stops at each park. We are staying at the All Star Music Resort. Stops are different at each park, check the board.

• It will take you approximately one hour to return at night. Leave yourself enough time. Room check will be one and a half hours after park closing or at our designated time as per your schedule.

• If any times or plans change you will receive a text with directions.

School Rules and discipline

While on this trip, all school rules apply. Discipline will be handled by Mr. & Mrs. Drew and relayed back to school. If a violation such as theft, drinking or drugs occurs, you will be sent home at the cost of your parents as well as the proper authorities will be called. No exceptions. Any damage to rooms or charges will be accrued by the entire room equally. A private security guard will be on duty as well as Disney security. They have been instructed to contact the Drew’s immediately.

Room check and taping in

• After the chaperones check you in for the night. That’s it. They will tape the door from the outside. If the door is opened, the tape will break and we will know. All members of that room will be responsible for that happening. Do not open the door for anything at all, not water, or ice or candy or toothpaste. If there is an emergency call you chaperone.

My Disney Expierience• THE NUMBERS THEY NEED TO LINK A TICKET TO A PROFILE ARE LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND

SIDE OF THE TICKET AND ARE A COMBINATION OF 12 NUMBERS AND LETTERS. • PLANNING WITH FEWER PEOPLE WILL RESULT IN A WIDER RANGE OF FASTPASS+ OPTIONS OFFERED. • ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------• Go to “StartYourDisneyExperience.com”. Each person will create a My Disney Experience account.

Select “ticket linking”. You will only be linking your park ticket to your profile, not your room reservation. • Link your theme park ticket to your individual account. You will not have your room reservation

number to link your room. • You are ready to begin selecting your FastPass+ experiences. We do suggest adding the people you will

be travelling with as “friends” to your profile. This will allow you all to select the same FastPass+ experiences at the same time together. One person would make the choices for those people selected. The fewer people you are selecting for, the more choices you will have. You can plan for 10 or fewer at a time.

• You will use your actual park ticket to gain park access and to gain access to your fastpass+ selections. You do not need your MagicBand for park admission and to use your fastplass+ selections, just your ticket.

• • You can modify your experiences, based on availability at any time or after arriving at the theme park by

using the FastPass+ kiosks located in each of the four theme parks. • • Select the group of people you will be spending your day with and have one person select the fast pass

selections for everyone in your small group. This will give all of you the same FastPass+ confirmations. If you book them individually, you may not be offered the same choices or the same times.

Packing

• Don’t over pack, one suitcase per person and one small carryon that can fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment.

• Temperature between 60 – 75 degrees. Dress in layers, bring raingear, good walking shoes, light jacket. Check the weather report before we leave.

Health and Hydration & Snacks

• WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER!!!!• The past few years we have had a lot of sick children.

Please stress to your children it will be very long days. Sleep when you are in the room and do not stay up all night. Drink more then you think you need and eat your meals. If you start to feel sick come to your chaperones or the Drew’s, we will have medicine with us.

• DO NOT SHARE WATER BOTTLES OR FOOD!• Dehydration is the biggest problem!!!!• Students may bring snacks for their rooms, no unopened

drinks.

Spending Money

• Please send your child with enough money to eat and drink. Your child should have 25 dollars a day for water and food, that does not include, souvenirs.

• To save money you can bring a water bottle to refill, but the water tastes bad and they will have to carry it all day long. Water is $2.50 a bottle.

• Souvenir money depends on your students spending habits.

Medication & Dietary Needs

• If you child takes his or her own medicine everyday. They may take it with them in a original bottle, labeled with what it is and only the amount needed plus an extra day. If you would like us to carry medicine, contact me directly. Students may not give each other medicine such as Tylenol or Advil, cold or allergy meds.

• If you child has any dietary needs, most Disney restaurants can accommodate them. Make sure they know to ask at each place they eat.

• On the first night we will have pizza, if you student can’t eat pizza, let me know ahead of time.

Behavior and Rules

• Expectations of appropriate behavior on this trip will be enforced at all times. Chaperones will be respected and treated the same as the Drew’s.

• Co Ed visitation can only happen with the door propped open, any chaperone can enter.

• At no time will couples be alone in a room. Students can not go to other

rooms after room check. • If it feels wrong, then it is wrong• Appropriate behavior at all times will be displayed in the airport and on

the plane. • Follow directions at all times and pay attention to adults giving

directions.• We expect well mannered, well behaved adults in this hotel. It is a

family property, please discuss with students appropriate behavior, language and noise level.

• If at anytime something is suspected in a room, any chaperone may enter and search the room for the safety of the others.
