• Please read this manual carefully beforeusing the dishwasher for the first time.

• This manual contains very importantnotes regarding the installation, use andmaintenance of your dishwasher.

• The manufacturer can not be responsiblefor problems caused by ignoring thesesafety and caution instructions.

• This dishwasher is designed for normalhousehold use.

• Do not use the dishwasher for industrialand commercial use, or other purpose.

During installation• Electrical connection must be in

accordance with the rating label.• Electrical safety is only guaranteed when

the earth system of your house is inaccordance with the related localregulations.(Do not use an extension cableor cord.)

• If the hot water exceeds 65ºC, adjust thewater heater setting. If the hot watertemperature can not be maintained below65ºC, the dishwasher must be connectedto cold water.

• If power supply cord is damaged, it mustonly be replaced by the manufacturer orits service agent or a similar qualifiedperson in order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance must be positioned so thatthe plug is accessible.

• The appliance is to be connected to thewater mains using new hose-sets and thatold hose-sets should not be reused.

During use• Only suitable household utensils should

be placed in the dishwasher.(Please avoid utensils; that are non-heatresistant, metal decorated, etc.)

• Do not use any kinds of solvent in yourdishwasher. They may cause an explosionor fire.

• Do not spray water on the appliance. It may cause the failure of electric parts orelectric shock.

• Do not push down or sit on the inner doorwhen the door opened. It may cause thedeformation or failure of your dishwasher.

• Do not use the detergent for handwashing. The detergent for dishwasher should beused for normal operation.

• This appliance is fitted with a safetyfunction that automatically stops theoperation of the dishwasher when it isexposed to heavy disturbance on itsmains.

• Dishwasher detergents are stronglyalkaline. They can be extremelydangerous if swallowed. Avoid contactwith skin and eyes and keep childrenaway from the dishwasher when the dooris open. Check that the detergent receptacle isempty after completion of the wash cycle.

• Some pre-treatment sprays or liquids candamage your dishwasher’s control paneland plastic components, so do not usethese products on or around yourdishwasher.

• Be careful! Water could be splashed outwhen door is opened.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONSThis appliance must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown,grounding will reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of leastresistance for electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having anequipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must beplugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordancewith all local codes and ordinances.

WARNING - Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor canresult in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician orservice representative if you are in doubt whether the appliance isproperly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with theappliance; if it will not fit the outlet have a proper outlet installed bya qualified electrician.

This appliance must be supplied withcorrect rating voltage and hertz as shownon instruction manual, and connected toan individual, properly grounded branchcircuit, protected by minimum 15 ampcircuit breaker or time delay fuse.Wiring must be 2 wires with ground.

The power plug must be in a accessiblelocation adjacent to and not behind thedishwasher and within 1.2 meters of thedishwasher side.(See page 7 Fig.A)

The power plug must be correctlyearthed, if in doubt, have it checked by aqualified Electrician. No other applianceshould be connected to the same plugoutlet by a double adapter or similarplug.

CAUTIONFor personal safety, remove house fuseor open circuit breaker before installation.Do not use an extension cord or adapterplug with this appliance. Electrical andgrounding connections must comply withthe national electrical code/provincial andmunicipal code and/or other local codes.

If bare chipboard is adjacent to or abovethe dishwasher, it should be sealed with awaterproofing paint or sealant to preventswelling due to steam.

This dishwasher is designed to fit to thesize shown as below.

Select a location as close to sink aspossible for easy connections to water anddrain lines.

The dishwasher should not be installedmore than 3 meters from sink for properdrainage.

If dishwasher is to be installed in a corner,a minimum 5cm of space is requiredbetween the washer and an adjacentcabinet or a wall.

Step 3 : PREPARE DISHWASHER FORINSTALLATION

Lay the dishwasher on its back.

Adjust the legs to the needed height ofcabinet as shown in below figure.

Step 4 : INSTALL THE DISHWASHER INCUPBOARD

Before sliding the dishwasher into thecupboard opening, all necessary finalheight adjustment and balancing adjustmentshould be done using the spanner.

Slide the dishwasher into the cabinetopening carefully. Make sure that thedrain hose inside the cabinet is notkinked or stretched.

CAUTIONIf the height of cupboard is below 850mm, youshould remove the top table by unscrewingthe 2 screws. (Two of rear)

If the end of drain hose does not fit tothe drain line, use a piece of rubberconnector(not supplied) that must beresistant to heat and detergent and maybe obtained from a plumbing shop.

There are 2 typical connections asshown in Figure A, B.

The “S” trap spigot must be drilled outcleanly and free of obstruction to itsmaximum internal diameter, if used fordrainage.

To prevent siphoning, one of the followinginstruction methods must be followed:

When the drain hose is connected to asink “s” trap or waste disposal unit, thehose must be looped up to the undersideof the bench top and secured.

When the drain hose is connected to aseparate stand pipe, it is essential that anair tight connection is made.Refer to Fig.B

CAUTIONWhen you connect or extend Drain Hose,make sure that drain hose is not kinked.(Bends should have 40 mm radius.)

Step 7 : FINAL CHECK AND ASSEMBLING

Securely hand tighten supply hose towater supply.Plug power supply cord into anearthed the power plug and switch on.

After installing the product, operatethe dishwasher through one cycle(Quick cycle is recommended) withoutloading the dishes.Through this, you can check for waterleak and operating conditions.When you operate the product thefirst, the noise may be occurred.In that case, turn off power switch andrestart the dishwasher.

Step 8 : HOW TO LEVEL THE PRODUCTAfter installing the product, if you feel somesticky or hear a frictional sound between theside portion of door and tub when you open orclose the door, you have to adjust the level ofproduct.

• If the door is slanted to the right as shown infigure C, repeat the procedure shown as belowuntil the door is operated normally.1) Unscrew(counter-clockwise) the left leg of

back side and high the level.2) Check the opening of door if there still

remains sticky or friction sound.• When the product is correctly leveled, There

should be no slant , stickiness or friction sound.

• If the door is slanted to the left as shown infigure D, repeat the procedure shown as belowuntil the door is operated normally.1) Unscrew(counter-clockwise) the right leg of

back side and high the level.2) Check the opening of door if there still

remains sticky or friction sound.• When the product is correctly leveled, There

Connect the water supply hose to thewater tap as shown.(Some models consistof an inlet valve and hose.)This dishwasher may be fed with eitherhot or cold water. If the water can not bemaintained below 65ºC, the dishwashermust be connected to cold water.

When connecting, the sealant tape orsealing compound to avoid water leaks.

Make sure that the line is not kinked orsharply bent.

HALF LOAD

• In case of small load, use upperor lower rack only to saveenergy.

• With each press, can selectupper or lower rack only.

• In case you don’t select thisbutton, the machine alwaysworks vario washing, whichoperate upper and lower sprayarm alternately.

TIME LEFT

• Before starting, the display window shows the running time ofthe selected program.

• After starting, the display window shows the remaining time.• If the dishwasher has a trouble, the trouble type is displayed.

If this error letters are displayed, please refer to the troubleshooting guide page 20 and follow the guide.

DELAY START

• If you want to delay thestart of selected program,press this button beforepressing program button.

• Pressing this button willincrease time by 1 hour.

• The delay start time can beadjusted from 1 hour to 19hours.

POWER

• For operating, press thisbutton first for power on.

• After operating, thisbutton automaticallyswitches off for safety andenergy saving.

• In case of irregular surgedisturbance to themachine, the power maybe automatically turned offfor safety.

BEEP ON/OFF

• The dishwasher must beswitched on.

• The beep on/off functioncan be set by pressing theIntensive and Pre washbutton simultaneously fora few seconds. Then, a“on” will appear in thetime display.

• The beep on/off functionis automatically canceledwhen power failure occur.

CHILD LOCK

• Used to lock or unlock thecontrol buttons to preventall the setting from beingchanged by a child.

• This function isautomatically canceledwhen power failure occur.

• For locking/ unlocking,press Intensive andEco 70° button for a fewseconds simultaneously.

PROGRAM

3. Using the Cutlery BasketCutlery should be mixed within each section ofthe cutlery basket to prevent nesting of similaritems. Place the cutlery in the cover with thehandles down. The cover can be hinged andclipped away from the basket if you choose notto use them.For the knives, place at seperate rack for kniveslocated at upper rack.

Take care when loading and unloadingsharp items.

1. Loading your DishwasherFor the best washing performance, it is important thatthe dishwasher is loaded according to instructions. Before loading items into the dishwasher, you mustscrape off large particles in particular non solubleitems such as bones, toothpicks, pips, etc.

When loading the dishwasher, observe the followinggeneral guidelines:

Position crockery such that water will contact allsurfaces.Deep based items should be placed at an angle tohelp water run off and dry properly.Items with burnt on scraps should be soaked priorto loading in the dishwasher.

2. Loading the Lower RackThe lower basket is best loaded with dinner plates,soup bowls, dishes, pots, pans, lids and even thegrill tray.Plates should be positioned upright and facing thecenter of the rack.Pots, pans and large dishes must be turned upsidedown.

Take care not to obstruct the rotation of thespray arms.

4. Loading the Upper RackThe upper rack is best loaded with moredelicate items, small plates, long cutlery,cups, glasses and dishwasher safe plasticitems. Plates should be positioned upwardswith the plate bottom facing the front of therack. Cups, glasses and bowls must be positionedupside down. Extra cups or cooking utensils can be laidon the fold down cup racks which may alsoprovide support for long stem glasses. Take care not to obstruct the rotation of thespray arm under the upper rack.

Non Dishwasher Safe ItemsThe combination of high water temperatures anddishwasher detergent may damage particularitems, therefore we do not recommend using thedishwasher to wash the following:

■ Copper or anodized aluminum■ Hand painted silver or gold leaf crockery■ Wood or bone handled utensils ■ Iron or non rust proof utensils■ Plastic items which are not dishwasher safe.

HOW TO USE AND OPERATE

Your upper rack can be raised or lowered tocater for different sized crockery. Beforeadjusting, ensure that the rack is empty. You can change the position of the upperrack by lifting the rack upward, into theupper position, or by pulling on the twolevers on either side of the rack to move itdown to its lower position.We recommend that where possible theupper rack remains level.And when you pull the rack upward, holdthe middle location of the upper rack ( marked position)

After adjusting the rack levels, checkthat the spray arm is free to rotate.

5. Adjusting the Upper Rack

WARNINGBefore adjusting, ensure rack is emptyof all crockery.Otherwise crockery may be damaged oryou may be injured.

6. Adding DetergentDispenser

• Detergent must be put into the detergentchamber before starting every programexcept the Pre wash.

• Please follow the manufacturer’sinstructions printed on the manual whendetermining the correct dosage.

• If your dishes are only moderately dirty,you may be able to use less detergent thanrecommended.

• Chambers hold 15g and 25g.• The amount of detergent depends on the

program. Refer to the guide table.

• After the detergent is supplied, thechamber lid should be closed.

• The detergent is dispensed automaticallyduring the operation.

• The chamber lid remains open afteroperation.

Detergent InformationUse only the detergent intended forhousehold dishwashers. (Ordinary hand-washing detergent should not be used,because the foam can interfere with properoperation.)

7. Adding Rinse AidDispenser

For fillingTo fill the Rinse Aid chamber, rotate theround cap counter clockwise and remove.Fill the container to the maximum levelwith a good quality Rinse Aid, then replaceand lock the cap.The Rinse Aid is automatically dispensedduring the final rinse cycle.

The dosage setting is factory set to suitmost installations. If, after washing, younotice cloudy spots, streaks or water markson your glassware, it may be necessaryincrease the setting. To do so, remove thecap and rotate the indicator arrow to ahigher setting then replace the cap . If theglasses are smeared or there is foam presenton the bottom of the glass or the bottom ofthe machine. Select a lower setting.

For refillingDepending on the dosage setting and thenumber of washes, the chamber may needonly to be topped up once per monthapproximately. The rinse aid level can bechecked by two methods.• By the indicator window on the dispenser

when the dishwasher door is fully open.● Black indicates sufficient Rinse AidO Clear indicates Rinse Aid required

• By the light on the control panel when thedishwasher is working on.

Rinse Aid Information

Rinse Aid is necessary in order to get spotand streak free dishes as well as improveddrying. Using the correct amount willimprove wash performance. However, usingtoo much can produce excess foam leadingto possible water leaks.

When the lamp is lit, it means the rinse aidis almost empty. Refill the Rinse Aidchamber as soon as possible.

OPERATING SEQUENCE

Press the “Power” button

Check there is rinse aid The corresponding indicator lights willilluminate if refilling is required.

Open the door and checkthe filtersEnsure they are clean and properlypositioned (See “User MaintenanceInstructions”).

Load the dishesRemove any excess food.Pull the lower rack out and arrange thedishes and cutlery.Pull the upper rack out and arrange thecups, glasses, etc.

Before starting, the display window showsthe running time of the selected program. After starting, the display window showsthe remaining time.The time in the display window will startto decrease minute by minute.If the door is opened during the program asafety device ensures that the machinestops.Once the door is re-closed the programwill start from where it was interrupted.

At the end of the washingprogram“ ” is displayed on the digital displayand a buzzer sounds. The display thenshows “ ” to indicate that thedishwasher is in “Cool dry” mode.

Cool dry-“Cd”This process is not part of the program.At the end of the program, the fan willcontinue to operate for about an hour todiminish any remaining moisture.If you want, you can now open and unloadthe dishwasher.Otherwise the dishwasher automaticallyswitches off for safety and energy savinglater.

Ensure the spray arms canfreely rotate

Measure out detergentAdd the required amount of detergent intothe dispenser and close the lid.

Setting and starting theprogramPress the program button to select thedesired program.After 3 seconds, the machine will start.If necessary, select the option functioncorresponding to the desired program. The indicator lights of the program and allthe phases of the program will come on.

CAUTIONDo not load the items in upper rack withthe lower rack is pulled out and loaded.

CAUTIONEmpty the lower rack first and then the upperone. This will avoid water dripping from theupper rack onto the dishes below.

WARNINGIn general it is not advisable to open the doorwhile the machine is working.If the door is opened, a safety deviceensures that the machine stops.Care must be taken if the door is openedduring the hot phase or immediately after aprogram has finished, as steam may escape.

According to the water temperature, pressure, voltage, running time may be varied.Running time doesn’t contain “Cool dry - 60 min”.

Eco 70° WashThis program is for heavily soiled.

Quick WashCan use for lightly soiled recently useddishes and cutlery.

Pre washCan use this program for only removingsoil before washing dishes by hand.

Eco 50° WashThis program offers the most efficientenergy and water consumption for a goodwashing performance. It is recommendedthat it will be used every time.

“Cool dry” is not part of the program.(See page 17)

Auto RestartIf the dishwasher is turned off by a power failure, it will restartautomatically from the position it stopped at adjusting accordingly.

To prevent trouble and poor operating, it is important to check and care for thefilters and spray arms at intervals.

Filters• Remove the lower rack first.• Turn the mesh filter counterclockwise off.• Take out the mesh filter, upper STS filter

and outer filter.• Clean them if necessary.• Replace them in the reverse order.

Upper Spray Arm• Pull the upper rack forwards.• Check that the water jet holes are not

blocked by food particles.• When necessary to clean, remove the arm

by unscrewing the nut.• Clean the spray arm and replace it in the

reverse order.

Lower Spray Arm• Check that the water jet holes are not

blocked by food particles.• When necessary to clean, remove the arm

by pulling up.• Clean the spray arm and replace it pulling

down.

Possible Causes

• Plug is not properly inserted in the socket.• Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped.• The electricity of the house was cut off.

• Door is not fully closed.• The start button is not pressed.

• The drain hose is kinked.• The filter is clogged. (Clean the filter.)

• Excessive water is supplied than normal water level.• The inlet valve is troubled.

• Water is not supplied. (Water tap is not opened.)

• The circuit of Heater is troubled.

• The mounting of spray arms is blocked by food particles. (Clean the holes of the spray arm.)
