VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME (Class 3 to 5)

Students of class 3 to class 5 collected rice, pulses, snacks, chocolates etc to donate it in OLD AGE HOME. DISHA SCHOOL provided them an opportunity to visit Sanjeevani Old Age Home, Kota, Raipur where they interacted with them who are abandoned from their families. The inmates were very hospitable and friendly, and they welcomed us with their beautiful smiles. To break the monotony of their lives, we presented few songs, messages and enactment for them. They also sang with us and danced together. Some of them broke into tears when we presented them handmade cards, flowers, chocolates, bracelets, gifts etc. DISHAITES came out with a smile on their faces, tears in their eyes and a different perspective towards the society and their role towards it, understanding that Old Age is the second childhood, and is a time when one needs love and care of the near and dear and they took an oath to take care

of their parents as well as grandparents.
