Hello the guy below it’s me!

I am a bit of a crazy actor and I want to challenge myself with a spectacular project!I am going to Svalbard to design a performance that will leave the future tourists absolutly amazed or maybe a bit unsettled.I think these long dark nights are the perfect setting for my goal.

100 years after the actor reached Svalbard, an extraordinary team of performers has settled in Spitsbergen National Park because of its natural morphology that resembles an amphitheater.

During these years, the ice around the islands has been melting slowly and Svalbard has become the center of busy waterways, overfull with cruises.

How did we manage to protect the archipelago threatened by these masses of tourists?

The bay, in which the performers have been living and practicing for a long time, has been the scenography for spectacular shows.Benefitting from the polar nights and the differences altitudes that characterize the landscape, the actors have designed illusions to amaze and intrigue the visitors.

Screens, fabrics, and lights produce an overlapping of subtle facades that design the edges of the coast and the slopes of the mountains.

Virtual images blend in with reality in several compositions, confusing the observers and making them question the authenticity of what they are seeing. The real actors and their inventions are mixed with the arctic environment and the creatures that inhabit it.

This uncertainty about what is actually left behind the scenes discourages the visitors to step on Svalbard. Therefore, they remain remote spectators, without pursuing consumerism.
