En cuanto al lugar, en inglés existen las siguientes preposiciones:
Sin embargo, algunas de estas como es el caso de las preposiciones in/on/at pueden ser utilizadas tanto para tiempo como para lugar, recordemos que las preposiciones de lugar indican dónde algo o alguien está localizado.
Estructura:
We use for time:
_ “at” + período de tiempo específico, por ejemplo, at 8 o'clock, at 11.30pm, at 7am, o también, at Christmas (for holidays), at the weekend, at night, at lunchtime. "in" + meses, estaciones del año, años, por ejemplo, in june, in (the) Winter, in 1986, in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening. "on" + día, fecha, celebraciones, por ejemplo, on Sunday, on 21st March, on my birthday.
We use for time:
-"at" + un lugar en una comunidad, por ejemplo, at the cinema, at the post office, at home. "in" + un lugar interior o cerrado, por ejemplo, in the drawer, in the classrroom, in the city center, in a car/taxi. -

"on" + una superficie (por encima de algo), por ejemplo: on the wall, on the desk, on the ceiling, y también, on the/a plane/train/bus, on the/a ship/boat.
Las preposiciones pueden ser utilizadas a manera de complemento en oraciones que indiquen cualquier tiempo verbal, es decir, se pueden usar en pasado, presente, futuro, etc. Además, pueden estar presentes en oraciones afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas.
Ejemplos:
The dog is close to the tree.
The dog is not close to the tree.
Is the dog close to the tree?
The dog was not close to the tree.
The dog will be close to the tree.
Las preposiciones al utilizarse como complemento, deben estar acompañadas de un sujeto y una acción o verbo para contextualizarse.
Ejemplos:
I arrived to the airport on time.
The meeting is on Tuesday.
In September we will travel to France.
The owl is in front of the box.
My pencil is under the desk.
The cat is behind the sofa.
The school is not between the church and the market.
The event will be on September

My name is Laura. I want to talk about my life and daily work activities. I wake up every day at six a.m., after I wake up I take a shower and start cooking my breakfast. I finish eat breakfast at half past seven a.m. and I take my stuff and I go to my office. I usually arrive to my office at eight a.m. and I often drink some coffee while I’m in a reunion. I stop work to eat lunch at noon in the dining room and I go back to my office at two p.m. From two p.m. to six p.m. I’m usually still working but I feel bored so I call my mom and some friends to say hi. When it is six p.m. my brother takes me up to home and we arrive home around six and thirty p.m.
