Using Visual Learning to teach a Subject Area
In teaching, it is important to:-
• Cater for most if not all student learning styles.
• Use visual aids to help students understand and grasp concepts of the lesson.
• In Principles of Business, if the topic on the Chain of Command in an Organization is being taught, it would be best to illustrate the concept for the students.
• By doing this, the students can vividly visualize the organization’s Chain of Command.
...An Example for Business...
...An Example for Accounts...• In Principles of Accounts, if the topic on Balance Sheet is
being taught, it would be best to illustrate the format of a Balance Sheet so the students can have an idea of what a Balance Sheet looks like.
• In doing so, they can familiarize themselves with the process and attempt examples to understand the concept being taught.
Conclusion
Though visual aids are helpful in stimulating pupils' participation in the field of Business Education, without the appropriate manipulation of the teacher, they would be futile.
