In 2013, a Pakistani national, Sajid Imtiaz, reported 100 internet crimes to Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) in 8 months.

He requested Guinness World Records (GWR) to register the record on his name and country but GWR has not yet granted him the title.

Problem Analysis

Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is an authentic platform to report internet crimes. One hundred crime reports can be verified from the IC3 anytime. www.ic3.gov Anyone from around the world above 13 years can break the record by reporting internet crimes to the IC3.

GWR Team did not bother to evaluate the significance of the IC3. GWR did not try to promote awareness on internet crimes and their control in the world. Some officials tried to tarnish image of Guinness World Records.Any national above 13 years still can break the world record of Sajid Imtiaz by reporting 100 crimes in less than 8 months.

Sajid Imtiaz shared the information on the digital media including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Over 500 views and comments show that GWR Certificate must be given to Sajid Imtiaz. Discrimination of GWR Team is being re-shared at SlideShare.
