The Mood Swing Orchestra was formed in 1995 for the performance of swing and dance band music of the 1930s and 1940s. Mood Swing Big Band performs hits

made famous by leaders such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and Xavier Cugat. The Orchestra’s fresh ap-

proach to classic big band music has attracted an enthusiastic following among Bay Area music fans. Mood Swing was chosen as one of the best local swing bands in the

March 1999 issue of San Francisco magazine, and was featured on the nationally syndicated big band radio show One Night Stand. Chris Nielsen, Host of One Night Stand describes Mood Swing Orchestra as one of the greatest bands

This year’s Turkey Shoot Flag Tournament will be held on Saturday,

November 19th. Make sure to plan to come out and see how far you can
