THE NAVIGATION KEYSFour arrow keys to move through menus, and an «OK» button to confirm the choice made.

THE DISPLAY gives you the following information: Date; Time; Post number.

THE FUNCTION KEYSPre-programmed for specific functions (e.g. to record a number on a key). They can also be used for supervision of other positions (the function key corresponding will be lit if it’s already communicating, it will flash to indicate an incoming call and it will be off if the other position is available for a call to be transferred).

A CONNECTION TO THE NETWORK:

1. Connect the LAN port to a free Ethernet port on your ADSL Box using the supplied cable 4 .

*ADSL Box: modem/router that uses ADSL technology to connect to the Internet.

THE�«PLUG�&�PHONE»�SOLUTION�EXPECTS:

Some requirements: An Internet connection. A DHCP enabled on your network

(by default on any ADSL Box*).

Using the PC port, you can connect another network device (other device, PC, ...) to this jack. If you no longer have free Ethernet port on your ADSL box, plug the Ethernet cable from your phone to the ADSL Box instead of your PC and then connect your PC to the PC port of the phone.The phone’s internal switch will connect your PC to the rest of the network.

Example of use: put the phones in cascade to avoid laying new cables for each phone to the ADSL Box

TO�REACH�SOMEONE�INTERNALLY�OR�EXTERNALLY,� THERE ARE SEVERAL POSSIBILITIES:- by typing the number: 1. Pick up the hanset or 1. Dial the number 14.2. Dial the number 14 ou 2. Pick up the hanset.- with the phone book:1. Select the contact in the phone book.2. Pick up the handset.- in «Hands Free» mode:1. Press the «Handsfree» 13.2. You can also put a call in secret mode (handset’s microphone is muted) by pressing the Mute button 10 which prevents the caller from hearing you. To switch back to normal mode, press the Mute button again.N

When you call, you can:

TRANSFER THE CALL : 1. Press on « Newcall » [left selection button

4 ] and dial a new number.2. Press on the «Tran» button to transfer

the call [right navigation key 1 and rught selection button 4 ].

PUT A CALL ON HOLD: 1. Press button « Hold » to put the person

on hold. You can make a second call with « Call » [left selection button 4 ] or take the line with «Retriv» [right selection button 4 ].

To access your voicemail (to listen your new or old messages, and to customize your greeting message), you simply call «123» and you’ll be guided by the voice server.Calls to the voicemail are free.

From an outside line, you can also access or set your voicemail by dialing 0330 684 0106. In order to identify you, the voice server will ask you to enter the number of your «Plug & Phone» and the password of your voicemail (this password can be configured in your Manager: SIP => choose the line => Voicemail => Password for answering machine).

YOUR PHONE HAS SEVERAL RINGTONES IN MEMORY THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE AT YOUR CONVENIENCE:

1. Press the Menu 6 .

2. Then «Config» [middle selection button 4 ].

3. On the screen, select «Ring tones» in the menu by pressing «Select» [left selection button 4 ].

4. On the screen, select «Type of ringing» in the drop-down submenu by pressing «Select» [left selection button 4 ].

5. Confirm your selection with the OK button 1 .

Post supervisionCTo view the status of other positions and/or intercept their calls, you must program the lights or sounds for the shortcut keys F1 to F10 14 (for example, you’re on post 1 and your employee, who is on the post 2, is on a call; programming a supervision on your post, you will know whether the post 2 is on a call with the light or sound indicator).

KEEPING�THE�SAME�EXAMPLE,�WE�PROGRAM�THE�POST�1�ON�SUPERVISION�WITH�SHORTCUT�KEY�F9,�TAKING THAT THE LINE IN POST 2 IS 020 1010 2020.

1. Press «Menu» [middle selection button 4 ].

2. On the screen, select «Supervision» in the menu, and press the OK button 1 .

3. On the screen, select: - « Silent » in the submenu to setup the light

indicator, and press the OK button 1 ; - « Ringtone » for a ring indicator.

4. Enter the key number you want to use for the supervision, and press the OK button 1 .

5. Enter the line number of the post concerned (e.g. on post 2: «020 1010 2020»), and press «OK» [middle selection button 1 ].

If the programming is correct, when the post 2 is online (No. 020 1010 2020), the F9 key indicator will light up on the post 1 (position we have programmed), or it’ll beep or play the ringtone. If from post 1 you want to intercept the supervision call, simply press the corresponding key.

DURING�A�CONFERENCE�CALL,�TO�SWITCH�TO�A�PRIVATE�COMMUNICATION�WITH THE CALLER AT THE TOP OF THE CONFERENCE LIST:

1. Press «Swap» [left selection button 4 ] as many times as needed to select the desired number (the number appears in the list). During the private conversation, the other interlocutors will be waiting.

2. To return to a general conference, press «Conf» [central selection button 4 ].

When a caller tries to reach you while you are already on another call, its number will appear on the screen and a beep will alert you. Press « Answer » [middle selection button 4 ] to take this new call (your line did not sound «busy» for him).
