Our vision for our students is that they have a passion for life, a love of learning, and the courage and confidence to lead and serve others.

This vision encourages our students from kindergarten to VCE to approach life with optimism, to be creative learners looking for ways to contribute to society and to be actively engaged with issues of social justice.

Employing a ‘personal best’ model, Genazzano aims to identify the capacity of each girl and encourage her to set her sights high. At every level of a girls’ learning she will be challenged, stimulated and supported by a highly qualified teaching body.

The curriculum offered by the College incorporates VCAA study designs. It is rigourous and suits the learning needs of all students.

Individual differences are provided for in the classroom by teachers, and supported by a dedicated Learning Enhancement team and highly qualified psychologists.

Our exceptional facilities are surrounded by beautiful park-like gardens, which collectively work to immerse students in a unique and inspiring learning environment. Our students are located on a single campus which offers both junior and senior students easy access to specialised facilities.

In addition to their academic studies, the extraordinary co-curricular program on offer provides the girls with an array of activities to pursue. From sport, music and the arts to language immersion, outreach and public speaking, as well as a wide range of interest-based clubs, the program allows students of all ages and interests to explore and excel in over 150 semester-based activities.

Parent associations and committees add to the fabric of life at Genazzano. These significant partnerships ensure students are supported and given every opportunity to shine, while also presenting families with a ready-made network that provides opportunities for friendship, professional connections and shared experiences.

2016 VCE RESULTS

Genazzano FCJ College is a non-selective school that welcomes and supports all students to strive for their personal excellence. We were delighted to share the outstanding results achieved by our VCE Class of 2016.

The median study score was 35 and the study scores greater than 40 were 23%.

6% achieved an ATAR above 99

26% achieved an ATAR above 95

36% achieved an ATAR above 90.
