Dear Church Family,

Is that just a hint of Florida fall in the air? I hope so because it has been a long, hot

summer. But God has been gracious.

I appreciate those who have given their time to participate in visitation the last

couple of weeks. We have had sixteen people who have gone out each week tomake contacts in the community.

As part of our Connect Campaign, October 5th will be Soul-winningCommitment Day. I will be sharing a couple of methods that you can use, whenyou get an opportunity, to share the good news about Jesus with others. On that

day I am going to ask you to commit to praying for two lost people. Also, for eachSunday in October, I want teachers to enlist someone in your LIFE Group class toshare his/her story of how they came to know Christ. On October 19 th, InviteCards will be distributed for you to use in inviting someone to Bible study andworship. We also want to be praying in our groups for our lost friends. All this

will culminate on November 2ndwith Connection Day (high attendance day in

LIFE Groups and worship).

I want to ask you to be involved by praying, inviting, and sharing the love of

Christ, as you go about your daily business.

Our strategy-Connectwith God thr ough worship and others in small groups;

Grow spiritually; and Serve others via a ministry team.

AWANA News

Clay and I are excited about the new AWANA year and so

happy to have many new faces join us. At this time we have

60 children enrolled.

We still need volunteers to listen to our students read their

Bible verses. The time frame is 6:50-7:15 p.m. We have 26

Sparks (Kindergarten-2nd Grade) and 26 T&T (3rd-6th

Graders), any help would be greatly appreciated!
