If you have a heart to help people through listening and counselling, the ICCC course teaches basic counselling principles for everyday life within a Christian context, and will help you to discern whether to take your counselling training further.

Vocational Training in Counselling

Waverley Certificate in Christian CounsellingOne year part-time, in Bradford

From 4 February 2020 we are running this course in Bradford. Taught one day a week, for 30 weeks, this course gives an introduction to theory and the Waverley Integrative Framework. The course can give access to both the second year of the Higher Education Diploma in Counselling and potentially the MA Counselling, currently offered at Waverley Abbey House.

Higher Education Diploma in CounsellingThree years, part-time, one day a week. Starting 4 February 2020 in Bradford.

Successful completion of this programme will lead to the award of a Dip HE and will enable you to apply for professional accreditation* once the requirement of clinical hours has been met.

*Awarding accredited status is at the discretion of the professional body

CWR Insight DaysOur popular Insight days will be coming to Bradford in 2020 too.The Insight Days have been developed in response to the great need to help people understand and work through key issues that many struggle with. The courses draw on real-life case studies, biblical examples and counselling practices and offer insight on important mental health issues, Sat 28 Mar – Disappointment and Loss: £20

Sat 16 May – Honesty Over Silence conference: £30
