BPS-Statistics Indonesia, collaborates with Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia (BNPB) in sharing statistical information focused on geographic information, employment, education, health, food security, water and sanitation. With the availability of data to the smallest level, it is expected to provide the existence of regional variations, variations of potential disasters, and variations in the potential of affected people.

Percentage of Damage houses and Public Facilities by Type of Natural Disaster Causes the Damage 2015-2016

Flood caused the biggest damage to education and worship facilities. More than 80% Road damage is also caused by flooding. And almost 70% of land damage by the disaster caused by floods.

Nearly 50% of the health facilities damage caused caused by earthquakes. Likewise with facilities of worship (40%).

The biggest damage to houses due to whirwind (30 percent), 15 percent due to earthquakes and 20 percent due to flooding.
