Initial Ideas - Video DiaryOur first idea was to have a video diary entry of a person in the corner of a room and the lights would flicker on and off and every time the lights came on a shadow would get closer. The shadow would then turn out to be a black bride ghost. We thought this was too much like a horror film so we stopped working on this idea.

Initial Ideas - KidnappingThis idea would open on a news report on the situation of a little boy that has been kidnapped. The screen would then go black and it would open on a little boy. The boy would then go into a lighter area and you would see its the boy from the news, and he is being held captive in a dark room.We though this idea would be a good thriller film, however it was too clich and repetitive.

Initial Ideas Waking up covered in blood.We had the idea that someone would dream about killing someone, and then wake up covered in blood. Then the person would try to was the blood off but it makes it worse. The person would then look in the mirror with a clean face, looks down and the up again and sees blood trickling down the side of his/her face, or from his/her eye. Then in the background of the mirror a person would be standing behind him.We thought this was too intense and like a horror film so we decided to work on making it less gory and adapted it into a thriller which is our final idea.

FINAL IDEA I WALK THE LINEOur idea is about a girl waking up after a party. Notices her necklace is missing. She then sees a person laying on the floor sleeping holding her necklace. She picks it up, puts it on, and leaves the house. As she is leaving she notices a body lying on the floor, she gets closer to the body she sees blood on the floor and on the railing. She walks toward the body and realises its herself lying on the floor. The screen then goes black. We chose the name I walk the line because the main character is in between life and death and therefore on a metaphorical line between existence and non existence.

Titles.As main character wakes up actors name is next to her head. 2nd character is laying on the floor, actors name comes up next to her head. Other titles about the production team come up as main character is walking round the house, next to different objects from the party.The title of the film will come up when the girl has just seen her body on the floor.

We are using my house because my room s very plain and gets natural lighting. Also my drive and lawn because they are open spaces that are easy to film.

Introduction to charactersRubyPlayed by Poppy ApriglianoRuby is the main character. She is the girl who wakes up after the party. she then finds her necklace being held by another party goer. She then walks out of the house and sees a body on the floor and blood on the railing. As Ruby gets closer to the body she sees herself dead on the floor. She will be in party clothes and party makeup and looking tired and confused.Friend/ Party Goer #1Played by Ellen SmithFriend #1 is the girl who is filming ruby in the beginning of the film at the party. She is also the girl who is holding rubys necklace in the morning. she will also be in party clothes.
