Voter Awareness Program

Government polytechnic vadnagar organized ‘Voter

Awareness’ Program on Wednesday, 16 January, 2019

at 2.00 PM in the institute premises. shri. Hitesh

P.Patel inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp

and gave inaugural address. During addressing to the

students Mr. hitesh motivated students to cast vote

and fulfill the role in the democracy.

Thalassemia Test Drive

Government polytechnic vadnagar successfully conducted “Thalassemia” Test Drive on Thursday, 14 march

2019.This was a part of medical health of students. In addition to this, an approximate of 73 students got

tested for thalassemia to prevent inheritance of the genetic disease. The active participation of the Gym-

khana team and Red Ribbon club is duly acknowledged and appreciated by G P vadnagar.

Institute level Activities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 9th edition of Vi-

brant Gujarat global investors' summit- 2019 at Mahatma Mandir in

Gandhinagar. The main theme of 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat

Global Investors Summit 2019 is "Shaping a new India. On Thursday,

17 January, 2019 Government polytechnic vadnagar arrange live

telecaste for the same so students from far distance can also take

benefit of this summit Shaping a new India theme.

Yoga Day Celebration

Yoga is a group of physical,

mental, and spiritual prac-

tices or disciplines which

originated in ancient India.

Yoga is one of the six As-

tika schools of Hindu phi-

losophical traditions. The

yoga practice had been

done in a campus of Jawa-

har Navodaya Vidyalaya

Vadnagar located adjacent

to the polytechnic institute.

With the view of overall development of students, Insti-

tute organizes "Sports Week" every year in winter season.

In Sports Week, a large number of students partici-

pated in outdoor games like kabbadi, Cricket, Volleyball,

etc., and indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess,

etc.

Bosch Rexroth India pvt. Ltd

One day visit was organized at anand-Viramgam Highway,

Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382170, India on 8-Feb-2019 espe-

cially for 4th semester. Industrial visits represent impor-

tant activities in any engineering undergraduate programme

that contribute to the achievement of various essential

learning outcomes and programme objectives. Bosch

Rexroth manufactures hydraulics components and systems

at the site, which are used in machinery applications and

engineering, factory automation and mobile applications

Banas Dairy Palanpur

Superior technology centre ITI mehhsana

One day visit was organized at Industrial Training Institute,

Mehsana on 16-Mar-2019 especially for semester sixth students and

and two faculty members. The main objective behind the visit was to

make student aware about to correlate theory and practical knowledge,

hands on training and participate and enhance their technical skill

through a workshop on latest CNC technology. Shree Yogeshbhai Daraji

sir Explain and Guide throughout that visit.

Department of Mechanical engineering of Government

Polytechnic, Vadnagr organized a technical visit on 30-Mar-2019

for 4th Semester students and two faculty members. One day

visit was organized at Banaskantha District Co-operative Milk

Producers' Union Ltd., The main objective behind the visit was

to make student aware about to correlate theory and practical

knowledge and enhance their technical skill through a see and

learn concept. Industrial visits represent important activities in

any engineering undergraduate programme that contribute to

the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and pro-

gramme objectives.

Functional English Skills Program

The Education Department of Government of Gujarat has taken the

initiative of introducing the Finishing School Concept for final year stu-

dents of colleges across the State .As a part of this initiative we con-

ducted a Functional English Skill program from 19/06/2019 to

29/06/2019 for final year students focusing on Presentation skills,

Email writing, CV writing, telephonic / skype interviews, Attitudes and

behavior, corporate culture and Etiquette. This training module de-

signed with 40 Hours learning sessions and 20 Hours interaction ses-

sions. At the end of this training, each student receives a certificate

from the Education Department - GoG. A total of 67 students from

Architecture, Mechanical and EC department of the institute are par-

ticipated in this program. Mr Suresh M. Prajapati who has a vast ex-

perience of the corporate environment is appointed as Master Trainers.
