Dear Colleagues, fellow Professionals and students,

DIPSAR formerly known as College of Pharmacy is a long standing Institute of Government of NCT of Delhi imparting education in pharmaceutical realm. It is one of the foremost institutions of Northern India started as College of Pharmacy in 1964 at Kashmere Gate polytechnic. Our Institute is situated in a well-developed 10 acres campus in South Delhi, on Mehrauli Badarpur road. DIPSAR is known for its high academic standards in pedagogy and research. Our institute offers pharmaceutical education at the level of Diploma, Bachelors, Postgraduate and Doctorate.

I feel privileged to present our placement brochure for the year 2014-2015 comprising of the profiles of our students of Masters in pharmacy for the academic year 2014-2015. DIPSAR offers courses of specialization in various realms of pharmacy which includes Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Hospital Pharmacy, Quality Assurance, Herbal Drug Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Research and Pharmaceutical Management. Introduction of new courses is under planning for Masters in pharmacy to serve the needs of burgeoning pharmaceutical industry. DIPSAR is fully equipped with sophisticated laboratories for facilitating pharmaceutical research and development.

Our mercurial students with wonderful academic records and research abilities are capable of performing outstandingly in pharmaceutical industry. Our students have performed meticulously in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). Many of our students have been selected for higher education in various International Universities. The alumni of this institution constitute an integral part of various top class pharmaceutical industries and academic institutions in India and abroad. The Institute is producing incandescent professionals with thorough practical and theoretical knowledge.

Golden Jubilee celebration of DIPSAR in November, this year, indicates its consistent success over the last 50 Years.

DIPSAR is an institution known for producing highly skilled professionals in field of pharmacy. Our students with all round personality, can perform punctiliously in pharmaceutical industry.

DELHI INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES AND RESEARCH (DIPSAR) is the premier institute offering high quality teaching standards in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. It was primarily pioneered as Department of Pharmacy at Kashmiri gate polytechnic in the year 1964.

The Department was shifted to Pusa Institute in the year 1972. Later in the year 1979, the Institute settled to the 10 acres campus at Pushp Vihar, New Delhi.

In the year 2004, formerly known College Of Pharmacy was renamed as Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR). The Institute is under the control of Department of Training and Technical Education, Govt of NCT of Delhi and has affiliation from University of Delhi. DIPSAR is coming forth as the first promising Pharmacy University of India that is, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSR-U).

The Institute is a well accomplished center of excellence which helps in building well skilled pharmacists and trained professionals contributing towards the advancement of the world.

DIPSAR focuses on research work in the following fields:-

Pharmacokinetics, Antifertility and Infertility,

Ocular pharmacology, Indian system of medicine, Radioimmunoassay, Novel Drug Delivery Systems,

Synthetic & Analytical chemistry,

Herbal Drug Technology,

Cardiovascular research,

Genome research, etc

DIPSAR has an excellent and well maintained infrastructure. Every department has well-furnished laboratories with highly sophisticated instruments available for use to all post graduate and Ph.D. students.

Our students have access to the following facilities:-

Air conditioned Library with ample of books, journals and magazines providing all necessary and required information to the students.
