From downtown Raleigh: Take Western Blvd west to Avent Ferry Rd, turn left on Avent Ferry, on the second traffic light turn left onto Varsity Dr. (the main entrance to the Centennial Campus). The visitor’s information booth is straight ahead of you.

From Cary/Apex: From I-440 (Inner loop), take Exit 2-A (Western Blvd). Continue on Western Blvd., pass 3 traffic lights. After you cross the intersection with Gorman St., look for Varsity Dr. on your right. Enter Varsity Dr. and continue for about 1 mile until the intersection with Avent Ferry Rd (there is a traffic light). Continue straight to enter the Centennial campus. The visitor’s information booth is straight ahead of you.

From I-40 West: Take exit 295 (Gorman St.). At the exit ramp turn left onto Gorman St. and continue on Gorman St. Pass two traffic lights, and turn right onto Avent Ferry Rd. Pass another traffic light, turn right onto Varsity Dr. (the main entrance to the Centennial Campus). The visitor’s information booth is straight ahead of you. If you miss Exit 295, you may follow the instructions for entering the campus from I-40 East (see below).

From I-40 East: Take exit 297 (Lake Wheeler Rd). Turn right on the exit ramp onto Lake Wheeler Rd. On the first traffic light turn left onto Centennial Pkwy (you’ll see farmer’s market on your right). Continue for about 1 mile until you see the entrance to the Centennial campus on your left. Take Achievement Dr. and then turn right onto the Main campus Dr.; on Varsity Drive turn left. The visitor’s information booth is straight ahead of you. If you miss Exit 297, you may follow the instructions for entering the campus from I-40 West (see above).

Once you pass the visitor’s information booth, continue on Varsity Dr., cross the Main Campus Dr. (Red Hat Bldg. is on your left), and continue until the T-intersection. Engineering Building 1 is on your right.

Jan Genzer’s office is on the 2nd floor of Engineering Building 1 (2088H).

Once you pass the visitor’s information booth, turn right on the Main Campus Dr. When you cross the Research Drive, Partners 1 Building is on your left. Park on Main Campus drive or behind Partners 1.

Our offices and lab are located on the 3rd floor of Partners 1 Building (3500).
