The Calcutta University offers a Diploma course in Creative Writing while the Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi offers a Postgraduate Diploma course in CreativeWriting in Hindi.

The British Council of India offers a Diploma course in Creative Writing while the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in New Delhi offers a Postgraduate Diploma course Creating Writing.

The Delhi University (DU), in the 2006 - 2007 academic year, will offer an optional application course on Creative Writing to third year students in the B.A. Program.

The ICFAI also incorporates Creative Writing as an optional paper in the third year of the B.A. (English) Program.
