How much food should children eat?
Children’s nutritional needs vary according to their size, age, gender
and activity level.
If a child’s daily intake of nutrients fall below recommended levels , they can become malnourished, if they exceed the recommended daily intake they can become obese.

in adolescents this increases to 78%
