So I thought I'd share how I make my palm trees for those who want to give it a stab! Let

me say it's super easy and anyone can do it! It's just a matter of having someone show you

how to do it. Ok so what we need is the basics!

Ok so lets begin!

". 8ow depending on how large or small you want your tree to be9 cut your wire to that

length. ake sure if you want your tree to be &%cm tall9 cut &(cm as you need to

compensate for the foliage. 8ow I went with a "(cm tall tree so I cut my wire to &%cm.

&. 5ut a lot! ach tree should have about &%#+% frons. 0ny less and it just looks weird lol

+. 5ut your tape! If you want your leaves to be a certain length then cut your tape double

that amount. ine where about (cm long so I cut stripes of "%cm. It doesn't have to be

perfect cause nature is never perfect so don't make your tree perfect. i: it up a bit if you

like with small and large frons.

3. 8ow attach the wire you've just cut to the tape. -e sure to line it up in the middle. Once

the wire is in place9 fold the tape over onto itself so it looks like the image bellow.

(. 8ow cut your frons out with your scissors and don't forget to mi: it up! *here shouldn't

be any that look e:actly the same!

ou start

at the top and start twirling the masking tape around and around making sure that after

each turn you move down a little. hat this does is leave lines in the trunk just like a real

palm! ?eep going till you hit the bottom!

@. *his is what your finished product should look like. ake sure you leave a little wire

e:posed at the bottom if you plan on stabbing it into your diorama $Aoam or clay) so it

stands up better.

"%. Open your tree! *his is pretty straight forward lol but yeah open the leaves and shape it

to your liking. ,sing the pliers does help a lot here!

"". ounting the dam thing! I use clay! Once you've glued it to the base or stabbed it into

your foam9 it's time to add clay! Smear it all around the base and shape it like image

bellow!

"&. 8ow to create some nice details to the trunk9 get your cutter or scissors and score the

base like image bellow. If you ever look at real palmBcoconut trees you will notice these

grooves at the base. 8ice little touch I say
