PARASAUROLOPHUSThe Parasaurolophus was 31 feet long. They ate plants. They could walk on either two or four legs. The first parasaurolophus was found in Al-berta, Canada. Parasaurolophus means crested lizard.

TYRANNOSAURUS REXThe Tyrannosaurus rex was 40 feet long. They ate meat. Some scientists think they had feathers. The first Tyrannosaurus rex was found in Montana. Tyrannosaurus means tyrant lizard and rex means king.

STEGOSAURUSThe Stegosaurus was 30 feet long. They ate plants. Their spikes were used for defence. The first Stegosaurus was found in Colorado. Stego-saurus means covered lizard.

BRACHIOSAURUSThe Brachiosaurus was 85 feet long. They ate plants. Their necks could be as long as 30 feet. The first Brachiosaurus was found in Colorado. Brachiosaurus means arm reptile.

ANKYLOSAURUSThe Ankylosaurus was 20 feet long. They ate plants. Their tail was used for defence. The first Ankylosaurus was found in Montana. Ankylo-saurus means stiffened lizard.

TRICERATOPSThe Triceratops was 29 feet long. They ate plants. Their heads could be as long as 8 feet. The first Triceratops was found in Colorado. Triceratops means three-horned face.

VELOCIRAPTORThe Velociraptor was almost 7 feet long. They ate meat. The large claws on their back feet were used to attack prey. The first Velocirap-tor was found in Mongolia. Velociraptor means swift seizer.
