The winners for the Café Q were Kenya Taylor, Loray Elliott and Qwanisha Taylor, 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place, respectively.

We Heard You! The student interns created the Dare to Compare price comparison to inform the Quinnipiac community about the campus dining pricing versus the local restaurants. The Dare to Compare information was shared with the campus via social media and lcd screens located in the dining facilities.

Tell Us What You Think! Biannual survey was conducted in November. A plan will be created to address any concerns that result from this survey. Thank You! The Student Government Freshmen Cabinet and Class of 2020 passed along these kind words at Thanksgiving, “We want to say thank you. We sincerely appreciate all that you put in to accommodate our dining needs. Best wishes and happy holidays!”

The Holiday Dinner Celebrates 32nd Anniversary! Over 1500 students and staff enjoyed themselves at the QU Holiday Dinner with a traditional holiday meal of roast beef, roast turkey, pasta and all the trimmings in the Café Q. “Thank you all another amazing Holiday Dinner! We served 1563 students and gave them holiday cheer before finals.” Holiday Dinner Committee.

CATERING AND CULINARY

The catering team received these remarks from Jason Burke, Director of Military and Veteran Affairs regarding their annual BBQ, “Please thank your team again for me. The best event thus far in the four years we’ve held it. Great service, food and quantity.”

CATERING EVENTS Campus Dining made history in November when our parent company Compass Group became the first food service provider to partner with @Global Animal Partnership to commit to raising and serving 100% healthier chickens by 2024! COMPASS IN THE COMMUNITY

The North Haven students and Campus Dining hosted a pasta dinner fundraiser for the QU Foot clinic.

Campus Dining donated dinner for 50 VISION volunteers. This dinner was a thank you for the volunteers. The VISION clinic provides pro – bono occupational therapy services.

Campus Dining Services provided an ice cream social (100 guests) for the Qthon Frozen viewing party fundraising event. Qthon fundraises for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Connecticut. Dining services also donated breakfast for the Qthon 5k run which had 200 participants. There were two more pasta dinner fundraisers the North Haven Campus. They were for the Guatemala and the Dominican Republic service trips. The money raised from these dinners will fund medical supplies for their trip during winter break. There was also a Breakfast at Night dinner fundraiser cosponsored with the QU 301 class. Campus Dining hosted breakfast for 800 participants in the Best Buddies Fall Fest and Walk.

Campus Dining donated cider for the Alpha Epsilon Pi Pie Throwing which raised money for Innovation Africa. Innovation Africa is a team of dedicated problem solvers with a mission to bring Israeli solutions and know-how to those in need living in rural African villages. They are using solar energy to pump clean water and provide schools, orphanages and medical clinics with light and refrigeration to store vaccines and medicines.

Campus Dining continued to feed the homeless of Agape House, New Haven and the Meriden Soup Kitchen. Soup was donated to Agape House while breakfast was donated to the Meriden Soup Kitchen.
