Along coastal Georgia, the ebb and flow of the tides of the great Ogeechee re-
main constant day after day, as does the quality of food served at Love’s. From spicy alligator fin-gers to succulent prime rib, and everything delicious in between, there’s no lack of choices. The children’s menu is popular with kids as is the great green lawn where patrons can occasionally
even see alligators swimming or sturgeon jumping. Albeit rare, there are times when they may even catch a glimpse of the dol-phins. The location is convenient to Historic Savannah and just 5 minutes from I-95, and yet pa-trons feel like they get a break from the rest of the world. Love’s also has live entertainment and are starting oyster roasts every Thursday night starting at 6 p.m.

Loves is a favorite spot for family reunions, business banquets, riverside wed-dings and receptions. It’s also a popular place for after church on Sunday. Nestled on the banks of the Ogeechee River, spec-tacular sunsets are the best show in town. For those who enjoy an occassional cocktail, the lounge is just across the way from the family dining area.

Named for the year it was c o n st r u c t e d , 1 7 H u n-dred90 has been in ser-
vice for over a hundred years, providing an experience and at-tention to detail without equal in a historic city that prides itself in showering visitors in the unhur-ried luxury and service of times gone by. Experience relaxed, fine dining in the most famously haunted inn and restaurant in all
of Savannah. Rumor has it that a friendly, 18th century ghost named Anna haunts the second floor of the inn above the restau-rant, but the haunted history didn’t stop the Godley family from taking ownership last fall. Marvelous renovations to the inn and restaurant have brought new life to one of the city’s his-torical gems.

beyond the image of a café or brewery and calling to mind an image of simplistic sophistica-tion. Coming into vogue in the late 1800s, brasseries gained popularity as ideal meeting places, offering hearty meals and an array of cocktails, handcraft-ed beers and wines, all afford-ably priced.

Fresh fish and seafood dominates the menu and even takes it a little further by only using what comes out of the water locally. About eight to eleven varieties of fish are featured nightly. When the first of the Chart Houses opened in 1961 in Aspen, they were known for their beef and slow-roasted prime rib, which remain steadily anchored on their menu today.
