image 4Theme or focus of images All of these photographs are portraits of eccentric fashion. The theme of these images could be eccentricity and the main focus is based around the colour blue.Images 1 to 3 show a female modelling clothing at a subject profile 45 degree angle and being able to see her whole body shows off the outfit more, whereas image 4 is a close up and could be seen as provocative due to her facial expression and body language. The make-up used throughout the photos is also eye catching. In the first image, she has bright blue eyebrows and in images 3 and 4, she has bright blue lipstick on. The use of brighter blue clothing and make-up rather than a lighter blue and lighter make-up also draws more attention to the images.

CompositionThe first three images are shot at a subject profile 45 degree angle. The fourth image is a close up. It is a studio shoot. In image 4, if the photographer zoomed out we would be able to see more of the model’s body language. The

photographer appears to be stood at head height when the photos are being taken.

Techniques usedAs all of these photos are shot inside, the ISO of these photos would be higher than 100, so I would say 300 is the ISO rating of these photographs. I think the shutter speed for these photos would be 1/125th. This means there is more light allowed in the camera, so the aperture would be able to stay at a good rate of f16 as the ISO would have to have been adjusted.

Strengths & WeaknessesI like the photos because blue is my favourite colour so it catches my attention, as well as the images being eccentric.The use of the bright blue colour rather than a pastel blue also makes the images more eye-catching.I think the photos could be Improved if there was more of a variation of poses, it could also draw more attention to the images if there were different poses rather than just stood there looking in different directions.
