Value proposition The energy industry is being radically transformed by increased access to data and digitalization of tools and processes. When data is harnessed effectively and combined with engineering insight it has the ability to radically improve how energy assets are designed, operated and optimized from concept and front end design all the way through the life of the field to decommissioning. Aker Solutions has developed a digital twin platform and series of software applications capable of optimizing energy operations at a product, facility and field level integrating subsea and topside facilities. The digital twin, conceived during the early concept phase (or retrofit to existing assets), collect, aggregate and liberate data from diverse sources and contextualize them into an integrated, consistent and coherent data-lake which can be managed and enriched as the asset progresses through its lifecycle. This digital thread allows data to seamlessly transition across asset phases enabling engineers, operators and asset managers to make informed and confident data-driven decisions; increasing efficiency, reducing cost and reducing risk.

Value Proposition: Securing Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety for critical valve operations has become an ever-increasing interest in the industry. Loss of production uptime related to critical safety valves such as x-mas tree valves (Wing/Master valve), ESD/BDV valves or production critical valves are often the root to incurred downtime or the compromising of safety. Our technology (ValveWatch) and operational strategy for performance and diagnostic monitoring of critical valves has become the standard on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Through the driving force of Digitalization/Industry 4.0/IIoT, Smart Valve Operations (SVO) has set the stage for enhanced performance and operational uptime. Pinpointing maintenance requirements or deferring test regimes based on sound diagnostic performance information is now available and is being put in to use as local actionable information and through cloud computing from single COMPANY expert centers. Our customers has spoken; No Critical Valves should fail On Demand, adding the benefit of Production Assurance.

Technology/Product/Service: With the third generation of our ValveWatch technology, we are able to trace and trend developing failure mechanisms relating to both the valve and actuator at early stages. Every time the valve is operated planed or unplanned, the system automatically carries out a full proof performance/Diagnostic test of the valve. This means that you will know if there is enough available force in the actuator to close the valve over a given production rate, you will know the valve has fully closed and that the valve is not leaking/passing. Valves fitted with ValveWatch are equipped with pressure sensors on the actuator, strain gage on the yoke, position sensor and a leak monitoring sensor (this is a fully equipped valve). This is connected to a data acquisition unit with a high data-sampling rate. The result is that the commonly denoted “Dangerous Undetectable Failures” (DU, Ref. IEC 61508 & IEC 61511 – Safety Integrity Standard) become Dangerous Detectable Failures (DD). I.e., you will know if your valve is on the verge of failure before it does fail, hence enabling a proactive/predictive maintenance strategy.

  • RESTRACK AS

Attendee 1 Name: Vishwajit Upadhye Title: VP Sales and Marketing Phone: 00971 52 9037093 Email: [email protected]

Value propsition RESTRACK (originally spin out from IFE in Norway and now 100 % owned by RESMAN AS) is a leading tracer service provider to oil companies world-wide. Our field-demonstrated technologies give information on reservoir heterogeneity, assess the effect of water & gas injection and determine the amount of remaining oil in the near-well & inter-well zone for assessment of EOR / IOR applications. Restrack focuses on providing reservoir information that enables our customers to improve oil recovery. Operating mature oil fields using enhanced and improved oil recovery (EOR/IOR) techniques, one of the challenges is to quantify remaining oil and to evaluate the potential gain of EOR and IOR applications. Single-well, and inter-well tracer testing are proven technologies to estimate the potential for improved recovery and to assess the effect of improved recovery measures. Tracer services are economically efficient, compared to the IOR and EOR projects they are used to monitor. As an example, the typical chemical cost of EOR projects are about 10 USD per additional bbl of produced oil, whereas tracer project costs can be measured in cents per bbl of produced oil. Restrack tracer tracking (including IWTT, PITT & SWCTT) can provide essential quantitative information to optimize infill-drilling, polymer blocking, ASP floods and other EOR & IOR operations including all types of WAG operations. Restrack delivers a full portfolio of integrated tracer services, including inter-well gas & water tracing, single well tracer tests (SWCTT) and partitioning inter-well tracer tests (PITT). We deliver an integrated service including planning, field operation, analyses and interpretation. Our service is based on unique & proprietary chemical tracers that are added to reservoir fluids.

    mailto:[email protected]

  • Technology/Product/Service IWTT - Inter-Well Tracer Technology (IWTT) is used to obtain information on well-to-well communication, heterogeneity and fluid dynamics. One of the appealing features of IWTT is that at the first tracer breakthrough in a producer, immediate and unambiguous information on the injector – producer communication is given. In cases with several sources of injection fluids, tracers yield unique information on the origin of fluids. Through history-matching of tracer production curves reservoir models are up-dated and improved. Restrack provides the largest suite of water and gas tracers, which has been qualified through extensive laboratory studies and field trials. Our tracer analysis methods are measuring tracers in extremely low concentrations (parts per trillion, PPT), which secure reliable results even in huge reservoir where the dilution factor is very high. SWCTT – Single Well Chemical Tracer Test is our specific method to measure near well residual oil saturation, connate water saturation, to evaluate EOR potential for low salinity, polymer and surfactants. This technology is a refinement of the standard methodology where a partitioning and reacting tracer is injected, left for a soaking period and then back-produced. PITT – Our novel Partitioning Interwell Tracer Test (PITT) technique is used for measurement of inter-well (injector to producer) remaining oil saturation. The technology is using patented chemical tracers that distribute between the oil and the water phase in a predictable way. The tracers can be injected into an injection well in a similar operation as for traditional inter-well tracers, during normal operation of the water injector, without carrying out complicated well operations. The PITT technology can be utilized both to measure the SOR in the swept zone after traditional water injection and to measure the effect of an EOR treatment in either an inter-well pilot or a full field implementation. Compared to the SWCTT method, the PITT method will measure in a larger volume of the reservoir and it would be a natural inclusion in upscaling of an EOR pilot FRAC Tracing – Restrack provides field-proven tracers for flow back tracing in frack operation. Restrack’s tracer has been proven to work when injected during the concentrated frack fluids/acid stages. The tracers will tag the water-based bulk fluid injected into each stage of frack operation. The utilization of Restrack tracer technology will allow assessment of the clean-up efficiency of each fracked zone and give vital information on whether all zones are cleaning up well and contributing to production. Further, the tracers will give information on relative inflow of the frack fluid along the perforated zones of the well. In addition to offsite analysis, Restrack also provides on-site analysis capabilities for the tracers by either setting up a temporary lab or by mobilizing a lab container. This enables rapid analysis of the samples (within an hour from sampling) and the progress of the clean-up can hence be monitored and adjusted continuously.

Value proposition Unknown data quality and information uncertainty is a huge challenge for all E&P companies. The increase in volume and the speed in which the data needs to be evaluated calls for automation, efficiency and standardization to drive data quality. E&P companies need to manage information like the corporate asset it really is. Simply implementing solutions like workflow management, analytics, or even Master Data Management will not solve all of the challenges. In reality, these solutions only address some of the issues, and do not eliminate the most important issue of using uncertain information to make critical business decisions. Only when data is current, complete, comprehensive, of high quality, and pervasive will companies be able to realize the full value of information certainty to protect capital, preserve business value and be ahead of the competition. Basing decisions on poor quality, incomplete or outdated information gives less precision, causes uncertainty and delays in the decision-making process, and lowers confidence.

Technology/Product/Service RoQC software suite (RoQC Tools) provide extended, unique functionality and automation workflows for the Subsurface Geology & Geophysics Interpretation Technology Platforms. RoQC is also enabling data access and seamless data integration software for Collaborative Well Planning (CWP). RoQC Tools automates data quality auditing, data quality reporting and enables full surveillance, KPI monitoring and data analytics of subsurface data that does not comply with standards defined by the company or following industry standards. It also includes multiple software applications that enables fixing of erroneous, duplicated, non-standard and incomplete data in a unique and digitized manner. Our mission is to create efficient data quality enhancement tools, time and cost saving solutions in the Subsurface Data Management domain. This is achieved by utilizing a combination of the commercial RoQC software suite (RoQC Tools), lean software development, Strategic DM Advisory, Standardization Specialists, Area and Project Data Management.
