MARINO BESTBest has been one of the go-to scorers for the Falcons throughout this career and has a team-high 26 goals this season. He owns the program’s game record for goals (nine) and is fourth all-time with 90 goals. Best

has seven multi-goal contests this season.

CUW finished the non-con-ference portion of its schedule with a 6-3 re-cord and was 3-1 at home

during games vs. non-league foes.

CUW has 29 victories at Fitting Field during five-plus seasons, including 16 over the last three seasons. All-time the Falcons are 29-12 at home and are 17-6 at home during MLC play.

The Falcons won the only meeting between the two programs, which was a 15-6 deci-sion in Mount Vernon,

Iowa last season on April 25. CUW scored the first three goals of the game and built an 8-3 lead by halftime. The Falcons’ Colin Raley netted four markers and Mark Wil-son had two goals. CUW held a 42-30 lead in shots, 36-29 edge in ground balls and cleared 18-of-21 attempts.
