PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS
¤ Photograph your work against a solid background. This will allow your viewer to see your painting more clearly.
¤ Zoom in so that your drawing fills the picture plane and is the central focus of the photograph.
¤ Hold your phone parallel to your work.
¤ Photograph your drawing in at least two different lights. Try natural and artificial light, or flash and no flash.
¤ Edit your image on your phone if you feel the need to change anything.
CREATING SLIDE PRESENTATION
¤ Sign into your ERHS account.
¤ Click on Google Drive.
¤ Open your Advanced Art Portfolio Google Folder.
¤ Once you are in your folder, create a new Slide Presentation called “Urban Landscape: After Edward Hopper.”
¤ On the first slide, write “Urban Landscape: After Edward Hopper” as the title, and December 2018 as the subtitle.
SECOND SLIDE
¤ Upload one clear image of your first preparatory drawing onto the second slide of the presentation.
¤ Add a title, charcoal on paper, and the dimensions of the artwork underneath the image.
¤ Look at Hopper’s work to the right as an example.
