GED® TEST METHOD

About the GED® Test

The GED® Test provides a valid means of measuring the educational

achievement of adults who have not graduated from high school and of

comparing their academic competence with that of high school graduates.

The GED® Test series consists of four subtests: Reasoning Through

Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, & Social Studies. Each

measures the major skills considered to be the outcome of a high school

education.

GED® Test Registration Information

Registration for the GED® test is done online at <ged.com> and the test is

administered at the official Pearson VUE® Testing Center at the McKinley

Community School for Adults campus. The testing schedule will be made

available upon completion of the online registration.

HISET® TEST METHOD

About the HiSET® Test

The purpose of the ETS® High School Equivalency Test (HiSET®) is to certify

a candidate’s attainment of academic knowledge and skills equivalent to

those of a high school graduate. Candidates will be tested in five core areas:

Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The test is a

computer based testing.

HiSET® Test Registration

Registration for the HiSET® test is done online at https://hiset.ets.org.

The cost of the entire test battery is $125, or $25 for each subtest.
