Annabel Street

You Me At Six are an alternative rock group and their Hold Me Down album came out in 2010.

There is not an image of the band on this poster which is stereotypical for this genre of music. I believe this adds mystery to their image and suggests you will only really know what they look like if you attend one of their concerts.

The page is mainly filled by a large

image of their album, which again

does not show an image of the band

but does include the band’s name and album title.

‘You Me At Six’ is written on a ripped piece of paper and

stuck down with sellotape which has

‘Hold Me Down’ written on it. This rough style makes

the band look edgy and as though they

have created the album themselves

(with raw material) which fans will like.

It clearly shows when the release date is as it is in big bold, yellow writing which stands out against the dark background. There is also information about how to buy the album (it’s available to buy on CD and download) and where fans can buy the album (play.com).

There is also a link to the band’s website

which wills increase the number of users on their online page

and create more hype around the

album. The record label is also shown in

the bottom right corner.
