Diesel engines for agricultural and construction
machinery.
Designed for every field of application.
In agriculture and the construction industry, its not words that count but deeds. This is where the robust,
cost-efficient MAN diesel engines come into their own. In an extremely small installation space, the
compact and powerful 110 kW to 882 kW (150 hp to 1 200 hp) drive toils on in conditions where others
would long since have thrown in the towel. They continue to provide reliable service even on difficult
terrain and in fluctuating temperatures. All this with impressive cost benefits and a high level of power
density. A MAN diesel engine always proves its worth whatever furrow it is ploughing.
Self-servicing.
MAN does it itself even servicing. We facilitate the integration of engine maintenance and repair into
the in-house service operation. Machine operators save time and money as well as experiencing service from
a single source. To ensure everything runs smoothly from day one, we offer accredited training courses and
a multi-stage certification process.
Modular design and tailor-made exhaust gas technology.
The intel ligent design of all the exhaust gas attachments for MAN diesel engines is modular. The choice of
exhaust system is based on the emissions standard required by the market, but the installation conditions for the
basic engine stay the same. Its easy to see the benefits: when they buy their engines, machine manufacturers
choose the most suitable exhaust system for the required emissions standard. The machinery they produce is
therefore well equipped to meet the needs of the many different markets.

Application types.
MAN engines are the optimum drives for agricultural and construction technologies, for harvesters, chippers
and shredders, mobile cranes and dockside cranes, construction equipment or for special machinery such as
snow groomers.
