A pack of tarot cards contains 78 picture cards, symbolising universal human experiences, such as falling in love, working towards a goal or admitting defeat. Stella will ask you to shuffle the cards and lay them out on the table. She will then relate the cards you choose to events and circumstances in your life, helping shed light on difficult or puzzling situations and offering hope, choices and renewed clarity.

To get the most out of a reading, it is best to come with a few definite issues you would like to explore. You can ask questions about work, money, health and relationships or see what the future holds! Writing down your questions is a good idea.

Many people are a bit nervous or apprehensive about visiting a tarot reader. There’s really nothing to worry about, but if this is your first time, don’t be afraid to ask questions or discuss your concerns. You can even bring a friend if you like. If you’ve ever dreamed of learning to read tarot for yourself, you’ve come to the right place. Stella’s ‘Tap into Tarot’ course, now in its eleventh year, is one of the most comprehensive andpopular tarot courses available in Australia.

The one-year course begins in mid February on Tuesday evenings in the leafy suburb of Elwood.By the end of the year you will have gained the confidence, knowledge and technique to read tarot for yourself, family and friends. The course also provides excellent grounding for those seeking professional membership of The Tarot Guild of Australia - many former students have gone on to read tarot professionally.

Classes are lively, intimate, practical and interactive covering tarot symbolism and history; Major and Minor Arcana; court cards; extensive practical tarot reading; human psychology and basic counselling skills. We also examine the ethics of tarot reading and how to set up in business as a tarot reader. In the final term, students invite friends and family to a client evening, putting the skills learned on the course into practice. Certificates are awarded to those who complete the course.

Stella has set up this NEW six-week intensive in response to student requests for more in-depth practical tarot training. The course is designed for those with a good basic knowledge of tarot who want to improve their reading skills or gain the confidence to turn professional. Each week Stella will demonstrate a particular tarot spread and when to use it, we will then split into small groups to practice the spread and finally meet together again for questions, feedback and group discussion. Stella will also offer advice on how to use tarot in the workplace or in your own business.
