    Premise

Christians are trying toexperience life through whatdestroys idolatry andoppression and in most cases

we dont even know it becausewe are deceived.

God intends to separate HisChurch from what destroys inorder to bring her to Him alonethat we might experience true

    life.

    Habakkuks Vision (~ 30 years

    after his 1st complaint)

Hab 3 :3 God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran.Selah His glory covered theheavens and his praise filled theearth. 4 His splendor was likethe sunrise; rays flashed fromhis hand, where his power was

hidden. 5 Plague went beforehim; pestilence followed hissteps. 6 He stood, and shookthe earth; he looked, and made

    the nations tremble.

    Habakkuks Vision

The ancient mountainscrumbled and the age-old hillscollapsed. His ways are eternal.

7 I saw the tents of Cushan indistress, the dwellings of Midianin anguish. 8 Were you angrywith the rivers, O Lord? Was

your wrath against the streams?Did you rage against the seawhen you rode with your horsesand your victorious chariots?

9 You uncovered your bow, youcalled for many arrows. Selah Yousplit the earth with rivers; 10 themountains saw you and writhed.

Torrents of water swept by; thedeep roared and lifted its waveson high. 11 Sun and moon stoodstill in the heavens at the glint of

your flying arrows, at thelightning of your flashing spear.12 In wrath you strode throughthe earth and in anger you

    threshed the nations.

Habakkuks Vision 1 3 You came out to deliver your

people, to save your anointed one.

You crushed the leader of the land of

    wickedness, you stripped him from

head to foot. Selah 1 4 With his ownspear you pierced his head when his

warriors stormed out to scatter us,

gloating as though about to devourthe wretched who were in hiding.

1 5 You trampled the sea with yourhorses, churning the great waters.

    Jesus example

Heb 12: 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,

    the author and perfecter of

our faith, who for the joy set

    before him endured the cross,

    scorning its shame, and sat

down at the right hand of thethrone of God.

    Shaking the heavens

and the earth. He b 12 :1 8 You have not come to amountain that can be touched and that isburning with fire; to darkness, gloom and

storm; 1 9 to a trumpet blast or to such avoice speaking words that those whoheard it begged that no further word bespoken to them, 20 because they couldnot bear what was commanded: "If evenan animal touches the mountain, it mustbe stoned." 2 1 The sight was soterrifying that Moses said, "I amtrembling with fear."

    Shaking the heavens

and the earth. H e b 1 2 :2 2 But you have come to MountZion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the cityof the living God. You have come to

thousands upon thousands of angels injoyful assembly, 2 3 to the church of thefirstborn, whose names are written inheaven. You have come to God, the judge

of all men, to the spirits of righteous menmade perfect, 2 4 to Jesus the mediatorof a new covenant, and to the sprinkledblood that speaks a better word than theblood of Abel.

    Shaking the heavens and

the earth. H e b 12 :2 5 See to it that you do not refuse

him who speaks. If they did not escape whenthey refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away fromhim who warns us from heaven?

26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I willshake not only the earth but also theheavens." 2 7 The words "once more"indicate the removing of what can beshaken--that is, created things--so that whatcannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom thatcannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so

worship God acceptably with reverence andawe 2 9 for our "God is a consumin fire."

    a kingdom that cannot

be shaken Greed, which is idolatry, and

    Oppression these are what

God is shaking out of thekingdom.

Let us be thankful, and soworship God acceptably withreverence and awe, 29 for our"God is a consuming fire

    God intends to shake not

only the earth but theheavens as well (Heb

12:26) because the Churchis seated both in the

    heavenlies (Eph 2:6) and

    on the earth.

A Shaking is Here and is

yet to ComeIn 1998I saw in a vision 3 angels sent from thethrone to resolve the idolatry condition of theChurch.

I understood these would manifest in 3 ways:

terrorism to remove our emotional securityapart from God

financial crisis to remove our financialsecurity apart from God

pandemic to remove our physical safety apart

    from God.
